Agin, so you say that Orthodox church meddles in state laws the most. I have news for you.

Mosques not only encourage but their imams fully act in the plotting of terrorist activities which are for political reasons.

The Vatican heavily supported and then enabled many war criminals to escape justice during WW2.

These are well known facts which cannot be disputed. The Vatican today constantly meddles in world affairs. Don't you see the Pope doing the world rounds and the Catholic church has always something to say about our laws and what should not become law. I see examples of this all the time. I don't see the Orthodox church on the TV poking in political matters but I see the Catholic church all the time.

So before you shoot your mouth off take a step back and examine the other churches and religions, especially your own.

Montenegro will recognize Kosovo and when that happens they have lost the right to call themselves Serbs which many do.

Shame of them.

Agim, how would you apply this proposed law of yours in Muslim countries? For example, would you say that war is the way forward to change such 'backward' views? Ha, ha!

“You have the historic responsibility to decide whether, following the path of St. Petar Cetinjski and King Nikola, you will save honor and preserve the dignity of Montenegro, its righteousness and freedom, which our country rests upon, or, God forbid, you will set a mark of disgrace on its face, and adorn it with such shame and humiliation that has never been seen in its centuries-long history of chivalry and strong character,” Amfilohije said in his open letter to the Montenegrin president and prime minister.

It is trully astonishing, as to how much religion likes to mix in politics, especially orthodox church, they werent raising their voices during `90 when serbia was commiting crimes left/right¢re.

There should definately be a law that religion should do what they are supposed to do and never mix in politics FULL STOP.

If Montenegro decides to recognise "kosova's" illegal decleration of independance (created by western powers and Albanian greed) it will mark the end of "Montenegrins" as we have known them since they came to exist, their entire meaning will be undermined and they will show the world that they are not the proud, moral and peacefull nation that they have been known as. The Monetengrin's which support it; which are probably about a handfull of extremists will cast a dark shadow which may be irreversible. Their link with their Serb brothers will be severed for eternity and they will have sold their soul.
I trust this will not happen and even if the "Government" does which is obserdly corrupt the people will say different and you can almost certainly expect absolute uproar and a massive destabalization of the country. Some of the greatest Serbs who have ever lived came from Montenegro and they were wise enough to relise we are brothers and must live together to prosper and achieve our destiny.

"Serb Orthodox Church (SPC) Metropolitan of Montenegro Amfilohije told Montenegrin President Filip Vujanović and Prime Minister Milo Đukanović that their country had always been strongly linked to Kosovo and that a recognition of its unilateral independence would set a mark of disgrace on its history."

I hope that montenegro does not fall for this religious conservatism, accompanied by chauvism that Serbia is tangled in (evident for centuries actually, since it occupied kosovA).

I know for a fact that Montenegro and Macedonia will recognise kosovo, who should not be eluded into the land-propaganda sentiment that Serbia dares to play.
