Due to opposition obstruction, the government will probably have to withdraw laws Serbia needs to adopt to get on the White Schengen List, says the speaker.

This is priceless.
1. This issue is an artificial and crated by the EU : they never imposed it onto RO and BG if it is to do with crime and corruption, they never imposed it onto CRO is it is to do with “secure” passports and “porous” borders . In short, just yet another pear-shaped curve ball from the EU.
2. Why do Serbian’s need visa-free regime with the EU, anyhow? Those who are fully fledged , legitimate travelers (and can afford it) can get visa at any EU embassy. Those who are up to no good – are really not all that desired in EU anyhow. ... Enough of vagrancies , all right?
For an average Serb it is much more important to get some job, than an ability to travel and visit to the Louver.
The way it is going, in 20 years or so, Serbia will the only member of EU whose citizens are not allowed to step their foot on the soil of other member-states.
That brings us to the next question: how worth is this courtship with the EU in the first place?

Dear reader of this article.

Do you really still belive in this story about a Schengen White List? I never heard of it for any other country then Serbia! This is a fata morgana, created by serbian leadership to push for their needs a dream of hope. If you really want to have access to Schengen then be stronger and better then some of EU countries in economic terms - and serbia can be stronger compared to some of them (Rumania, Bulgaria) and stop to cuddle if Brussel wants something. Be proud on your state and what you have, don't sell it to cheap. Switzerland should be the country you aspire too not EU.. and their promises.
