A team of doctors will at the end of October perform surgery on the first Serbian patient that will not pay for the procedure, since the World Health Organization has listed transsexualism as a disease.

Therefore this, and all future patients, will have their surgeries paid for by Serbia's state fund for health and social insurance.

It is fundamentally unwise to politicize medicine. I do not accept that this is a good use of tax money.

People with transexualism have a serious problem with their sexual identity that can be cured by sex change operations. World Health Organization (populated by people who are by by far more competent in health issues that you and me) has recognized this fact and declared transsexualism a disease.

Playing devil's advocate here, let me ask you - would you find a better way to spend tax payer's money for people with paralysis, or retarded people, or any disease that's foreign to you and/or makes you feel uncomfortable?

This Doctor Sava Perović might very well be Ratko Mladic! This is not unusual in Serbia, isn't it?

When we use question tags they must be in the OPPOSITE form from that of the initial statement. Therefore "This is NOT [NB: a negative] unusual in Serbia, isN'T [NB: another negative instead of affirmative] it?" does NOT exist in English.
