Lavrov slams U.S. unipolar policies

Now supposing Moscow decides to quietly arm the anti-US forces in Afghanistan ..... interesting times we live in.

It's extraordinary that Russia has so many talented and remarkable politicians collected in one time in it's modern history.

I'm still pinching myself at this momentous point in history when bullies have been shown the door without a shot fired in their direction.

Truly beaten at their own game.

Please do not play the old losers game of trying to save the world or champion empty ideals.

Be selfish for a change.

Your people and people with freedom in their constitution deserve this as a minimum.

That's EXACTLY my point! The US will have no choice but to flee Afghanistan in defeat in time, Russian help to the anti-US forces there will only speed up the timing.

As for Chechnya and Ingushetia, the last I heard these places are securely under Russian control .... and I must add at a fraction of what it now costs (and bleeds) the US to maintaiin its follies in Aghanistan and Iraq.

Russian stocks may be down (as are those all over the world), but this is far preferred to the financial chaos, countless homeless mortgagors and army of jobless (or soon to be jobless) ex-bankers and property agents now swamping the entire US.

The US may not be out yet, but you have to be really blind not to see that it has fallen into a humongous black hole of its own making!
