Maybe it wasn’t ethnically motivated, these guys must just have something against taxis in general, it was just a coincidence that the driver was Albanian and the taxi company named “Taxi Albania”.
Now for those who want to come I personally guarantee you a safe visit in Kosova in condition you and any member of family are not in any way affiliated with any taxi commerce trade or industry. Also please refrain from using any taxi service for you own safety.

"Personally, I know 4 of them (2 guys and 2 girls). They actually work for me, cz I own a company which provides translations, so whenever we need Serbian translation services, I call on them, and the collaboration between us is so great. I even have coffee from time to time with them. Good enough for you?

(AO KS, 28 September 2008 22:44)"

Sorry, not good enough by a long shot. 4 Serbs is not my idea of "many Serbs". Far from it. Especially when you consider the number of Serbs in Pristina before Nato's invasion.

Well maybe he should drive his Albani cab in south Mitrovica. I know that Serbs down there can't drive cabs.

Approximately how many of these "many Serbs" live and work in bliss in Pristina? I am just so curious to know.

I, as a Serb, would not feel safe in Pristina if I was in a tank. Please stop painting these rosy pictures of Albanian-dominated parts of Kosovo. The truth is, you would most probably get your butt kicked, or a lot worse, for just speaking Serbian there. And you know it.
(meltdown, 28 September 2008 18:28)

Meltdown, can you provide me with a link (source) so I can see when a Serbian language speaker did got kicked in Prishtina!
You have to keep one thing in mind (as Dashnori i Ceces said) - don't expect that we (the Albanians) will cheer and greet you if you ‘come in a tank’, dressed with ‘Car Lazar’ t-shirts and stuff like this. Just think of what would have happened to me, as an Albanian, if I come to, i.e. Belgrade, wearing an Adem Jashari t-shirt?

Maybe some Albanians will feel ashamed with what I will say (even though they know I’m right), but there are coffee bars that play sometimes Serbian language music in Prishtina. I can record it someday and put it in Youtube, but that would not help the reconciliation between us, wouldn’t it?

Greets from Prishtina!

I also condemn such a cowardly attack, and hope that the driver is ok. and will leave ethnicity out of it.

Ethnicity -- not politics. the belgrade regime continues to stir the pot of ethnic division and ethnic conflict, for their own narrow purposes. attacks by hooligans follow. it is not exactly a coincidence.

Shame on these Kosovars of Serbian descent. Had the Albanians done this, we would have seen a 50 message comment page with "Albanians are criminals"

You are absolutely correct: coming with tanks will get you in trouble. Come as a civilian, no Seselj shirt, and no one cares. Visit Albania too, beautiful beaches and very friendly people, if you respect the locals of course.

Prishtina is trying to keep the stability and peace, we should not let some thugs destroy it with provoke ppl and later start riots. Let's hope KPS track them down fast and bring them to justice.

Make those Kosovar-Seerb boys wear orange vests that read "Republic of Kosovo" and make them do community work. Maybe pick up the trash in Mitrovica streets?

I was surprised to see this article in B92, cz this event has happened like 2 days ago (forgive me if I'm wrong). At first I just saw the title of the article and I was glad you are informing the Serbian opinion about the events happening in the Northern Mitrovica. But, when I read the article, I couldn't see anywhere in the text mentioning that the assaulters were a group of Serbs!!! The one thing that you mentioned is that the Kosova Police has said it could be a ethnically motivated assault. In deed it is!

Let the Serbian opinion know about the real situation in the Northern Mitrovica, cz it is not the Albanians who are isolating them, but the Serbians themselves. Who wants to go to a place where they will be beaten 'to death' just because they aren't Serbs (especially if they are Albanians)? And don't start by saying that the Serbs get assaulted in other parts of Kosova too, cz you have to come and see it for yourself - I know so many Serbs who live and work in Prishtina, and nobody cares what their ethnicity is, including me!
