serbian tanks did not come to Kosovo, they were there, since it is serbian territory, don´t forget that, please.

and unfortunately, due to terrorist activities of a bunch of criminals the army had to intervene, since these criminals terrorized not only the serbian population...

It would be better if stick to the truth, my dear...

Frans,

You are saying that

"..but we are now 10 years after the NATO bombing and your "liberation" by the use of force.
Do you really think that the Serbian tanks and army came in Kosova to show how peaceful they are?....

sorry Cees and EA, but we are now 10 years after the NATO bombing and your "liberation" by the use of force. When can you start thinking like normal people in 2008. So long after what happened it is useless to talk over and over again. and Cees you are utterly and totally wrong. The world has already dramatically changed. Also don't forget that after Dindic and now Tadic we have politicians who have nothing in common with past policies of Serbia. So the world goes on and accepts Serbia as a mediator using the International Law. What is wrong with that? again, we are in 2008, don't keep looking back but to the future.

....and still no sign of remorse about Serbia's exceeding use of force in the Yugoslavian conflict, in this case in Kosovo!!
On the contrary: a glorious self exposure of being the defender of the international law, teaching the world that Serbia is bringing it back on the way to mutual-understanding and respect. What respect this is? Telling us that whatever the outcome will be, Serbia will never respect the independence of Kosovo/a. That is the ultimate form of hypocrisy!!

"Looks like the Albanians are getting a little desperate now when they put their lives up for a lost cause.."

ZK,

That is where you and those whom think like you are getting things wrong

Albanians are not desperate for the simple reason because they got what they wanted/dreamt freedom from Serbia's oppression and discrimination. You can not deny that. You are trying to get something that you have lost and the Albanians are trying to build on what they have won. I hope that you will see the difference. Of course the course of Kosova recognition by other independent and sovereign countries is on the right track and more work need to be done. It is as hard work as it is for Serbia to stop the unstoppable.

Whatever happens in the international arena Kosova will never never again be under Serbia's sovereignity. I bet my life on that.

Patience my friends.

"....foreign statesmen and officials are reacting well to Belgrade’s initiative, and confirmed that the voting will take place in early October.

Which foreing statesman is Tadic talking about? North Korean President and his friends? Thanks)) Let's be REAL!

“I am convinced that this resolution beneficial .....for the UN in restoring its authority of respect of international law, and establishing a mechanism for conflict solution,” he said.

NICE words but the problem is that Serbia by international law means mother Russia.
When it comes to international law we all know what happened if former Yugoslavia, what was done to forcefully keep Yugoslavia going...

Tadić also explained that Serbia’s diplomatic activity will not end with the closing of the UN General Assembly.

“We will influence our friends and partners until the last moment, but....

what will be doing the Albanians and those countries whom have supported Kosova's independence. Maybe the Serbs think that they will sleeping while Serbis is lying from morning till night about the history of the conflict/dispute in Kosova.
Whatever happens in the international arena Kosova will never never again be under Serbia's sovereignity. I bet my life on that.

Good luck Mr. Tadic!! although not all Serbs have faith on the DS Party coz of its Pro Western background. at least we are seeing some efforts from your side in defending the province of kosovo.

Let's hope that those precious EUROS will not "cloud" your judgement in the end.
