@Dingdon

So Tadic's degree isn't good enough for you? I guess you like Vuk Jeremic much better then, since he graduated from Harvard's Kennedy School of Goverment, and the most high-ranked MPA/ID programme in the world.

I look forward to listen to you future praise of this politician.

On my part, I tend to evaluate politicians on their actions and actual policies, rather than their degree.

A positive ICJ ruling in favor of Serbia will not end the NATO/KLA occupation of kosovo province but it will bring a very inportant political victory for the country and SHAME to the US & the EU

This initiative is doomed to fail. For one, it may not get accepted. Secondly, if it is accepted, the court will rule in favor of Kosova in keeping in line with international law and not restricting their decision to declare independence.

In relevant news, today the 47th country to recognize Kosova has been named. It is Samoa. Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia are expected to follow soon.

A history degree is still better than a psychology degree. It is because of my patriotic sentiment that I will not support the likes of Tadic. He is give up everything and get nothing in return. Surely you can see this. The only people in Serbia who I have respect for are the dedent hard-working people in the villages who are trying to make ends meet. All Tadic et al are bothered about are their comfy chairs in Belgrade. He denounces the riots in Belgrade but does nothing when innocent Serbs are attacked. Clearly a Western embassy means more to him than the life of a Serb!

although I am against Tadic and his "eurocrats"... I must say that it doesn´t matter what kind of degree you have.

completely irrelevant, since every statesman has advisors and if you look abroad, there are several other statesmen who had no degree in law or economics. the for german chancellor Kohl, only as an example amongst many others holds a degree in history.

to be a patriot also means not to talk bad about your own people, when they are not worse than others.

>> Tadić added that Serbia would with a positive decision, "secure a European future defending her dignity, the integrity of the country, sovereignty, and the rights of the citizens that are at risk in Kosovo.”

Notice how he does not include the Albanians as Serbian citizens, even though he calls Kosovo a Serbian province.

After all that has happened, if he thinks that 2 million Albanians will allow Serbian soldiers in Kosovo in our lifetime he is sorely mistaken.

He said that "Serbia has three foreign policy plans that are most important—the temporary agreement with the EU, defining the authority of EULEX in Kosovo, “which can be done exclusively through the UN Security Council”, and the presentation of the ICJ initiative before the UN General Assembly.
I will hold Tadic to this statement. Soon he will find out that Serbia's iniciative failed to go throught the UN and for that the blaime will be on USA of course. Secondly no EU agreement will be reached unless Serbia recognise Kosova as an independent country and thirdly the authority of EULEX will be as prescribed by President Ahtisari Plan and if Russia would like to endorse it that would be desirable.

Most successful countries have intelligent leaders with a degree in politics and/or economics. What does Serbia have....a president with a degree in Psychology! This is what is commonly referred to in the West as a Mickey Mouse degree. Serbia needs to get someone into power who understands political manouvering and economic advancement.

He added that Serbia "wants the EU in Kosovo, but not the implementation of the Ahtisaari plan".

This is so wrong in so many levels, the Ahtisaari plan guarantees so many rights for the minorities in Kosovo, especially K-Serbs. President Tadic you should be ashamed of yourself for letting politics come before people. This clearly shows that you don’t care what happens to K-serbs.
