"The book 'The God Delusion' is probably the most significant book in print at the moment.

There are so many religions and versions of them - and amazingly, none is right!
(Bob, 15 September 2008 13:18)"

Dawkins book is hardly "significant" Bob as you say. Even many "leading" atheists condemn it for recycling stale and flimsy, and embarrassing arguments. I read it and stopped after page 40 because of his obvious agenda and poor reasoning.

Second, is it not presumptuous of you to declare that YOU have a monopoly on truth, that you can confidently say that "they are all wrong?" Are you a sage, prophet or eternal being of some sort sent to illuminate us in the manner of a new Hari Krishna?

BTW, Christ's way is the right way. Read "a case for Christ" and leave the nihilistic atheistic drivel alone or it will lead you to despair. There you have it!

Its been said twice already. Who cares? Its not like Serbia wrote the book! If I can't (not going to) buy it in Serbia then I can just buy it in Hungary or Greece or anywhere else in the immediate region. Best advice if people (Muslims and non alike) are so sensitive about it, don't buy it. End of story.

I agree completely with MILAN, this book is of no interest to anyone and it has been written with the sole purpose to offend. It doesn't have any literature value, it is a kind of religious smut, designed to provoke rage among Muslims.
(there are quite a few of similar publications appearing now in the West)
And, as always, its publicizing is being defended in the name of Free Seech and Democracy.
Suddenly,we apparently can't feel real democrats without insulting muslum religion.
Serbs, should definitely stay out of this vulgar business.
It is not a matter of Free Speech but of Decency.
(Your hunch about Kosovo fits quite -right on the money, our leaders would be quit capable of it)

Enough with all the conspiracy theories! Who cares! So what if it is in print in Serbia, isn't that what democracies are supposed to have? Freedom of speech and religion? How about focusing on freedoms in Muslims countries? Isn't the treatment of Muslim women, treatment of Christian and Jewish minorities enough to raise doubt about these groups objectivity?!!! How ironic for Muslims to stand on their moral soapboxes. If you don't like it..then don't read it!

As if the Serbs don't have enough concerns with their day to day survival and political situation- now they find time to read a book about Islam's prophet's most favoured wife. WHo cares? The author is by no means an expert in Islamic histoy or thought- just another westerner out to score some quick cash with something provocative.

Can't people see what is happening? This is a ploy by certain western intelligence agencies for this book to be available in Belgrade so as o offend the Arab-Muslim world and consequently in annoyance for them to recognize an independent Kosovo.

Serbia and Jasic you should be aware of this. Let it be available in the west but Aisha is of no concern to us.
