I think the ICJ should look into whether the U.S.A. violated Mexico's sovereignty by illegally annexing her territories as well.

I agree it is a "WAIST OF TIME" talking to the americans since they the one who sponsor the kosovo UDI and they will not change their postion on the matter not unless Serbia have something to make them worry and eventually will make them re-review the issue. again.

>> "Serbia will promise the territorial integrity of FYROM and Montenegro. Because we all know Albanians want to claim more land that is not theirs."

I suppose you know how Crna Gora got Ulqin, Podgorica and Plava right? All were 100% Albanians. They had to call in the Turks and the British after they got beat by the Albanians.

But anyway, how will Serbia guarantee that ?? FYROM will go into a confederation within 5 years and Montenegro only ha 600,000 people with the Muslims in Sandzak gaining ground daily. You can't.

US /EU are offering EU (prosperity) and NATO (security) membership. Within 7-10 years all Albanians (8 million by then) will be in one state anyway. We all wear kuq e zi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tifozat_Kuq_e_Zi and cheer the Albanian cause. Why would we start a war? A huge highway will join the regions and many already come for the holidays in Albania. Even now they are no borders, nor visas between MN, MK Albania and Kosova. Almost all our neighbors are friendly.

Serbia can offer MUCH BETTER.

Serbia will promise the territorial integrity of FYROM and Montenegro. Because we all know Albanians want to claim more land that is not theirs. This is something the EU/NATO can care less about.

If you all read the article you will see that Jeremic is not pleading or asking for anything.

He is merely informing Condi how thigs are. He is telling here that they are poles apart on the UDI and Serbia will take it to ICJ whatever the US says about it. I'm sure he is not disclosing his hand at all. He would be telling her the minimum of will be outlined but enough to let her see that they are not going empty handed.

This is showing the world that Serbia is serious and very committed to doing things the right way, at the same time being open enough to give the other side one more chance to resolve the issue.
The world cannot say that Serbia has not tried her best to solve this problem peacefully.

>> "Dont waste our time Vuk. Vuk needs to go to FYROM and Montenegro and make sure they are not going to recognize Kosovo."

That would be the real waste of time. Both have decided to; they need EU /NATO and Serbia can offer them nothing better

I have to give credit to Jeremic, yesterday he was talking to some of the terrorist sponsoring countries in the Middle East and now he is heading to meet with US secretary of Defense. A man with such skills I would immediately hire him for intelligence purposes as agent, therefore I would suggest to Rice to propose Jeremic a job for CIA. But when I think twice – he might already be on CIA payroll and he is reporting to his boss and Kosova is just a cover-up, who knows?!

GAry T you are correct in what you say, however polically this is a good move, it will show the world that Serbia is willing to talk to all on this issue, i don't think the US position will change. However maybe a deal can be done over Kosovo if Serbia does not recognise AB and S.O????? and the end of the day its all politics

I though we were clear on reducing the diplomatic interface with the USA to a bare minimum (according to the Action Plan).
By “giving special permissions” and continuing to have full diplomatic relation with the country that created / instigated Kosovo’s UDI – are we , de facto, annulling the provisions of the Action Plan?
Mr. Jeremic, what you do is admirable but on this one I would agree with the comment above – you are pleading for mercy from the perpetrator.
It is humiliating at worst – or futile at best.

yes Vuk does know where democratic USA stands, but is he not gooing on the wrong direction?perhaps he should fly to Moscow and meet Putin instead.or is mr Jeremic understanding finally that USA(god bless)is the real potential partner and the most powerful nation in the word that can help Serbs with more than Russian food and medication.

Mr Jeremic, will let Miss Rice know that he is very much against Kosova's independence. For God sakes what a waste of tax payers money,i thought she knew that already and that he wants to ask the ICJ about the legality of decleration of independence. Mr FM will be told again and again that USA SUPPORTS KOSOVA'S INDEPENDENCE.Thats all, there is to it.I guess you got to justify your salary even if it means that you have to sound like galah quite offten, same as our President of Kosova he tends to repaet himself sometimes like a galah yet he is second highest paied Presidend in Ballkans in one of the poorest state in Ballkan. What a joke, thats politicians for you...
