@10 Blero, Bravo, you finally admit that Albanians have been plotting for this for nearly a century.
(Peggy, 14 September 2008 09:55)

Is your aim defending Serbia or is it Milosevic?
If it is Milosevic then you are doing a fairly good work.
If it is Serbia then you have completely failed.
You are accepting that Albanians have suffered under Serbian regime since 1912.
You are accepting that things did not start with Milosevic.
As I mentioned in my last comment, Milosevic was the last king of terror to rule Kosovo.

@10 Blero, Bravo, you finally admit that Albanians have been plotting for this for nearly a century.
Why then do Albanians always use Milosevic as an excuse?
It's really getting tiresome reading this same old rubbish.

Leave Milosevic out of it and continue stating the fact that this has been in the planning for a very long time. Even before Milosevic was born. So now that the truth has finally been admitted by you guys we can move forward.

Albanians revolting did not start with Milosevic, although you people seem to find it so easy now to use him as a convenient scapegoat.

(Peggy, 13 September 2008 00:37)

And people say we don’t agree on anything Peggy.
I completely agree with you on the above statement.
You see Peggy, at no point did I say that the revolt started with Milosevic.
The revolt started from the day that Kosovo was given to Serbia and Albanians became punch bags and target practices for Serbian Regime.
There have been Milosevic’s in Serbian government since 1912 (some with names like Aleksandar Rankovic for example). The only thing that changed time after time would be the name, not the habits.
So yes Peggy, revolt started in 1912. Milosevic was the last king of horror to govern Kosovo.
I hope we agree on this.

Blero and others, anyone who disagrees with your version of events in Kosovo, you immediately accuse of not knowing the facts.
I have news for you. We do know the facts and that's why we disagree with your version.

Albanians revolting did not start with Milosevic, although you people seem to find it so easy now to use him as a convenient scapegoat.
Albanians have been systematically ethnically cleansing and terrorizing the Serbian population in Kosovo for decades. Long before Milosevic came to power.

How do you explain Serbian and Albanian population being almost equal before WW2 and now we have 90% Albanians and only 10% Serbs. Who ethnically cleansed who then?

C'mon, even a child can see that something is rotten in the state of Denmark, as they say, here. Credible journalists like John Pilger don't share your view at all. You should read something written by this man.
Gregory Clark (former Australian diplomat) now the president of Akita university in Japan also doesn't share your point of view. Plenty of credible people have stuck their neck out to get the truth out to counteract all the propaganda carried out by the US and her puppets.

You can stop blaming Milosevic for the unrest. This was planned decades ago, and even some of you admit that though your posts when you say you have been waiting to be liberated since 1912. Milosevic wasn't even born then.

I don't have any word to try to understand that kind of behaviour - and now you are trying to explain to us on this site - that those same people changed overnight and became angels and democrats ready to integrate in EU. It doesn't make any sense.
Please, don't hide and be brave to explain us that kind of behaviour.

Thanks in advance.

DD,

Let us compare the behaviour of few hooligans and the state terror that Albanians had to endure.
You are referring to actions of few and suffering of one family.
No family deserves to go through what the family you are referring had to go through.
No matter the circumstances revenge is not the solution. Revenge only brings more revenge.
Now, back to Kosovo:
If you try to compare the experience of one with the experience of 2 millions you are very far from the target.

What you had in Kosovo was a clear state controlled terror.
DD, if you lived only for a week what Kosovo Albanians had to their whole lives you would appreciate the readiness to fight and die for the freedom.
DD, we are talking about generations lost in the hands of the terrorist regime.
Now DD, how does that compare to the example you put forward?
Finally let us touch the conversion to democrats (as you out it). DD, when you experience first hand the terror that we had to endure, the last thing you will do is become the terror maker.
The last thing you will do is become something you hated all your life (a terror inflicting nation).
There are and will always be individuals that do bad things however please do not relate actions of few with a nation.
If that is the norm, what do you make of Serbs with all the war crimes committed by few of them?
Can you say that all Serbs commit war crimes?

@dd
We should condemn injustice even if it is inflicted by our peers. So if Albanian mob reacted that way against others for no reason then shame on them and shame on Norwegian authorities.

In the other hand I heard very little admission of guilt from Serbs and no request for forgiveness from any of them for the thousands victims caused by Serbian military and paramilitary.

I agree with you that changes are needed but as the bible says you have to start by yourself. So my dear friend Serbia will resurrect again like it did before and will ask for forgiveness for sins they committed and will flourish as an example of peace and prosperity in the Balkans, and the others shall follow.

Blero,

As you look really as one of the best informed persons on this site, please can you explain me behavior of your Albanian democrats/cowards in the refugee camps in Denmark 1992 and later/on the boats/camps near Kopenhagen. Hundrads of Albanians jumped to beat single men(some barely survived) who escaped from the war from Yugoslavia just because they were Serbs. That was the real hell what my best friends went through and all their children got traumatized for the rest of their lifes. But again all that bravery comes from groups (10 to 50) against single men. You all stood there and enjoyed the show.

I don't have any word to try to understand that kind of behaviour - and now you are trying to explain to us on this site - that those same people changed overnight and became angels and democrats ready to integrate in EU. It doesn't make any sense.

UNMIK is under umbrella of UN which means Russian veto possibility on everything therefore EULEX will be less subject to this. Also most of EU countries are members of NATO and the interests of this organization will be better served under EULEX.

The decomposition of YU started with the arrival on power of Milosevic who promised a greater Serbia and a cascade of wars and atrocities led to the disintegration. It is easy to put the blame on, Slovenes, Croats, Bosnians, Macedonians, Montenegrins, Albanians and others but the Serbs should look at their own mistakes and re-adjust their policies so they can again acclaim the noble status of the past. The remaining shadows of Milosevic era are still trying to initiate new conflicts which ultimately might result on more atrocities and losses and I’m not sure that Serbian nation would benefit from it, once again.

It is year 2030. Kosovo is still a province of Serbia, and Pristina still negotiate with Belgrade.

Chapter 1:

All of a sudden the representatives jump up from the table, "O.K we give up. Let's have your independence".

or

Chapter 2.

...All of a sudden the Pristina delegation jumps up " O.K, we give up, put the past behind, we want to be Serbian patroits"

Is this real, or science fiction? Anyway, In Serbia's interpretation this is reality.

Felix,

You seem to not know about the situation in Kosovo.

It was the Serbs who didn't want the Albanians there. 10,000 dead and hundreds of thousands displaced. Let's be reasonable now.
Kosovo is a much safer place now, hopefully EULEX will crack on the corruption.

You didn't want the Serbs and jumped for the weapons.
(Felix, 12 September 2008 13:51)

You see Felix, this is where you were wrong.
At no point did Albanians fight because they did not want the Serbs.
Albanians took on weapons to protect themselves against the tyranny and the oppressive regime that was enforced on them by the Serbian regime.
Anybody that wishes to come to live in Kosovo is more than welcomed.
One thing that you will find different is the fact that no nation is treated superior against the others any more.
You might dispute this however this is the actual case.
There is no more first and second class nationalities.
There is no more master and slave nationalities.
There is no more superior and inferior nation classification.
There is no more 10% of the population have 95% of the jobs available.

Kosovo apartheid is gone never to come back.
If you can accept that you are welcomed in Kosovo. Come and see it for yourself.

'...the work of the UNMIK mission needed to be wrapped up as soon as possible.' You call that 'reconfiguration'? There's a major difference: UNMIK has legal basis, EULEX doesn't.

You didn't want the Serbs and jumped for the weapons. Now, how would the Serbs ever accept you? By force? Imposed by who? EULEX? Face it...
