"He believes that the only topic he could discuss right now with the Kosovo Serbs and Belgrade would be the deployment of EULEX forces in the province, adding that other issues could be discussed later."... Seriously now, you call these 'talks'? Well, in this tone, it looks like you'll have to wait...

Mr. Feith, if EULEX is the only thing you want to talk about then you have nothing to talk about.
I have no doubt you will find a way to twist this and blame Serbs again for not being cooperative. You ask for something no country in the world would agree to and then you will say you tried but Serbia doesn't want to talk.

The only people who will accept your garbage are Albanians as they are desperate for people like you to lie on their behalf.

don't you trust the dutches you have seen what happened in srbrenica, they are the only reponsible ones and now they are putting the blame on serbs.

EU is the champion of putting lame ducks in responsible positions. That is one of the many reasons why in two decades this artificial creature will be only a history.

hey, I am ready too, but no-one is asking.
Mr.Feith, make instead another episode of your 'European Lessons in Cooking with Pieter Feith' (Youtube) you are far more amusing in that context.

quite worthless news, I´d say.

I´d rather love to read news about the investigations against the albanian "heros" who have shot at bathing serbian children with automatic rifles...

why aren´t they behind bars, yet?

THAT would be real nes, B92. not this totally useless information about a dutch bureaucrat who is serving US-american interests in serbian kosovo.

"He believes that Belgrade’s current position could change, and that the only topic he could discuss right now with the Kosovo Serbs and Belgrade would be the deployment of EULEX forces in the province, adding that other issues could be discussed later."

So basically he says he's ready to talk, but only on what he wants to talk about. For a minute there I had some hope a turning point was reached. Then I realized the Pasha of Kosovo is just politics as usual.

If you want to talk about EULEX, talk with the elected representatives of the Serbian Assembly. They are just as much a government as the Albanians of Pristina are.

If you want to talk real overall issues, give BG a call. At some point, you will.

Yes, EU did find a better one, Feith is not heading EULEX.

Kermabon does, but he can be anyone in the wide world Serbians will not like him.

So your comment can be correct, just replace the name.

It is obvious to me that, the Serbs and Kosovars have to sit down and talk peace in a very near future and somebody has to initiate or mediate some sort of deal between to nations. Who else it is going to emplement this but someone like Mr Faith,UNMIK baisicaly is not there anymore(or powerless) i know its pretty hard for some people to exept this but that is reality i am afraid.TA

Feith no problem as long as the first topic of discussion would be the "final status of kosovo province". but the serbian people knows how BIASED you really are and therefore NOT WORTHY to be a mediator. so just buzz off!!

What an utterly ridiculous suggestion. Feith has been at the forefront of efforts to secure recognition for Kosovo. How he could now expect to play the role of an honest broker simply defies belief. If he had wanted to play this role, then he should have stayed well clear of the status issue, insisting that his role - as the representative of the EU, which has not recognised Kosovo - was to oversee Kosovo's further political development and its eventual integration into the EU (leaving this comment to be read as one will).
