After being so loud and bombastic about supporting Ukraine against so-called Russian agressive intentions (especially by that UK minister), you would have expected the EU to loudly support Ukraine's EU membership as icing to the cake. Instead poor Kiev is going to have to be content with a merely "associated" with the EU.
