Same here. The seat belongs to the person, not the party. Which often cause a lot of uproar and cries about traitors, when a member of the parliament or city government decides to switch allegiance.

in Serbia, a parliamentary mandate belongs to the party - or to the MP, which was nominated by are party ??
in my country the MPs would keep the mandate - whether they are expelled from a party or not.
