Jeremić attends Arab League summit

Mr. Jeremic and whole Serbia until today acused and propaganded these Arab countries for sending Mujahidins to Bosnia and Kosovo to fight against serbs and now look they are going there to bag them to support serbia in their initiative. Funy but true the same Mujahedins that use ti kill serbs in Bosnia and Kosova suddenly become saviors to serbian initiative against a New Born Kosovo Country with majority of muslim population

Any attempt to reverse the process is aiming to mislead the internal Serbian public opion that "we have done everything we could" about Kosova. The delaying tactics will not work anymore for Serbia. We might be in a situation that each country from the Islamic League should make up their mind indivudually like and express the opinion of its majority. Even in a family there are not of the same opinion. Kosova issue was/is not a religious issue for the Albanians though I believe the Serbs shoot themselves in the foot by representing it as a religious one "denigrating" the islam....I hope these look into the history of dispute extremely closely.
Whatever happens there is "no return" to Serbia's soveregnity.

It is no secret that extreme Muslims or mujahidins were involved in slaughtering Serbs in Bosnia and Kosovo and Serbia always made sure to highlight or point out that those involved were extremists and the one with enough brains cannot equate the entire world’s Muslim population with certain extreme individuals.


You see, that is the exact difference between civilized European Serbia and for example USA. We do not identify entire Muslim population with some extremists that happened to be from Afghanistan, Iran, Egypt, etc. And that is precisely what the USA did when went to war on Afghanistan (after the 11/9), or to war on Iraq after accusing Iraq for having some virtual weapons for mass destruction. Such policy cost over million of lives only in Iraq and who knows how many lives have been lost in Afghanistan concerning the fact that every week we read about some hundreds of dead civilians that happened to end their lives as collateral damage in never ending search for Talebans.

Good Job Vuk!! but the use of force should also be an option for Serbia since i do think that NATO will protect the separatists in pristina even if the ICJ declare the UDI illegal.

The Arab League are not Mujahidins so what's your point? As Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim nation has quite rightly explained, Kosovo is not a religious issue but a political one. The Arab world sees Kosovo as the expansion of US hegemonic policy, which most are resisting already!

That's why the Arab League, Islamic Organisation and many other related groups are so against Kosovo recognition. And that is another reason why this independence drive is dead. The overwhelming majority of the world simply do not agree with it and the sooner the Albanians, American and European politicians come to terms with being wrong the better.

The Arab world is united with Serbia on this issue.

Serbia never had anything against Muslims.Serbian religious fundamentalism (if there is such a thing at all)largely begun as a reaction to Western bulying while supporting Albanian terrorism against them.
But Serbian and K-Albanian historical conflict has little or nothing to do with religion.
We have minister Rasim Ljajic, even our foreign minister Vuk Jeremic who is fiercely fighting for Kosovo is half-muslim. Which other country can proudly say the same?
So please give us a break with

As well for Jeremic's patricipation to Arab League: Serbs were the only nation in ex-Yugoslavia who actually believed in the notions of'brotherhood and unity' and 'non-aligned movement'. Serbia
took over our friendships from those times, that is how we are still in good relations to many countries on Africa, Asia, South America.
Again, Serbia is clearly showing that religion wasn't and isn't an obstacle for good relation and peaceful coexistence.

This is good, I love this. I hope arabs and muslym countries never recognize Kosovo. The longer they do this, the more albanian muslims alienate themselves from islamic culture, and their influence. The more Kosovo becomes a western and American protectorate the better it is. It will be a big plus for albanians, as so far Serbia has played very beautifuly the fear card of an islamic nation creating a state in the heart of Europe, and displaying the albanians as the black sheep in Europe and outside culture, while in fact is the other way around.

Kosovo, pertrayed as the "serbian craddle", the stronghold of cristianity against Islam, of the good guy against the bad guy,how europe should not recognise the "Islamic state of Kosovo" and want the help of the Arab countries? OIC, now to back Serbian government. and it wasn't as far as 2004 when a couple of mosques were burned in Nis and the police was practically watching!

The Kosovars have the West. That is the jump-start that matters.

The Arabs will delay the process of recognition but eventually they will accept it.
All in all, it helped that they did not jump to recognize Kosovo.

Serbia is doing all it can. It tried to scare America with the Arabs' presence in Kosovo. It didn't work. Now they are trying to do the opposite. Scare the Arabs with the American presence in Kosovo.

It's good tactics but poor long-term strategy.

Just because they are talking to the Muslim world doesn't mean that you are off the hook. You are not like some of the Muslims world. Serbia is quite happy to have friendly relations with anyone who is genuine and not extreme. They never said they hated Muslims. They only won't accept the extremists like KLA.

The wahabbi's are pumping millions into the K-Albanian part of Kosovo. A-Kosovo is lapping up the money. The only problem is that they are funding and building Islamic moskes all over A-Kosovo.

Who is supporting the wahbbies? Who is taking direction from them? The Serbs?

Please, any time there is some international super power interested in the Balkans, historically/hysterically the Albanians shift towards that power.

K-Albanians will end up owing the Saudi wahabbies for a long time. Even after the US leaves. The Eu will be stuck with quite a sour pickle. So will A-Kosovo.
Two masters. Hmmm.... I certainly hope those sky scrapers and corporate parks are developed before the wahabbi mosques are up and functioning.
