INTERNATIONAL LAWYER Paul R. Reichler speaks about the International Court of Justice. Read between the parallels, as he is representing The Republic of Georgia at the ICJ hearing. If this is true, than, the NATO/EU countries should have something to fear when Serbia's case is brought before the ICJ, and the following scenario happens.

"The court does not have an army or police force to make a party before it comply with its order. But the fact is that in the vast majority of orders, states comply," lawyer Paul R. Reichler.

"It's easy when you're invading another country to invent some legal justification, but its not easy to maintain that pretense after a court like the ICJ says what you are doing is illegal," he added. "You have to bring yourself into compliance or accept being branded an international outlaw."

Rolercoaster: you have a very funny sense of humor! Mr. "Bonusmiles" Jeremic, indeed. i don't know if his PR dept is the ONLY one working in serbia, but they do deserve our respect -- and attention! i have yet to see any clear and appropriate (re)action from Kosovo/a, which i believe is a major mistake. everyone knows that the best defense includes a powerful (diplomatic) offense. the govt in pristina needs to wake up (no offense) and smell the coffee. i don't think that the "we are above it all" approach is the proper one here. come on, guys and gals...

in the meantime, serbia is not picking up support for their ICJ case, which shall lose badly in any case. nor are they helping their case for the EU.

no matter. they do what they think they must do, and we must do what we are called upon to do.

Is there anybody in here who can exaplin me how does Serbia realistically think they can hold on to Kosovo when nobody from there wants them back anymore!!! And second, even if some countries in this court say that Kosovo secession was not totally legal, what in the world would it change? - The confused one!

I am so proud of Jeremic and the D.S. how brave it is for him to thank Germany for its support of Serbia. I particularily pleased at how they bombed Serbia every 40 or so years and how they like to divide our territories according to there interests.

I am so proud that Jeremic will rely on the ICJ to defend Serbia's borders, it is much easier than sueing countries for damages.

I am sure he has the U.S. running scared of the ICJ decisions which bind no one.

"and we would not have done that had we believed that decision ran counter to international law," Steinmeier "

hold that quote - either Germany is overconfident ICJ will side with its ( and the US and UK) strange logic of sovereignty which can been applied elsewhere (Georgia for one but not least) or this is a sounder that if the ICJ uphold Serbia's soverignty then I guess Germany's FM will have to stand by his words and act in revoking the illegal recgonition in line with inrnational law.

Looks like Germany has set up its own procedure for revoking its rash recognition!!!

the only department working properly in Serbia's govt is the PR office of Mr. "Bonusmiles" Jeremic. it sells each of his trips as diplomatic success, even when he reaches nothing.

the PR-sminke does not change the truth - it is just cosmetics - and attempt of someone, who is blonde at mind.

'Jeremić thanked Germany for its support...' What support?

This statement is ridiculous, just one sentence before the German guy says they will NOT support Serbia.
