Solana: NY meetings to clarify EULEX role

Didn't Solana and the backers of EULEX claim that by this time the EULEX mission would be on firm grojund and present in all of Kosovo.

If this claim were true then why on earth does he need to go to New York for clarification on EULEX.

Seems that EULEX is bound to fail.

Let's turn this around - territorial integrity means that Serbia is the ultimate government of Kosovo, but with power seeded to an autonomous local government as described in 1244. 1244 is an interim measure until this state of affairs is properly established.

Serbia should insist that the EU recognise this proper legal status before it agrees to join the EU.
