Transdnestr: Independence declaration anniversary

Moldova's breakaway republic Transdnestr celebrated the 18th anniversary of its declaration of independence.

How can Transdniestr reunite with Russia if if it bordered by Moldova/Ukraine? I saw some of the media this "country" produces, such as Visit Pridnestrovie, PMR and Tiraspol Times and can only think of the darkest Cold War times and the most deceitful Soviet propaganda from Stalin times.

All these silly quasi and pseudo states are only causing divide in the world today (seems to be the new fashion). It should be that a country is either recognized as one by the UN within its borders or is not a country at all and can't go further than autonomy.

Of course the people's right to "Self Determination" have been completely ignored by the West. Why? because they have no interest there, or it does not serve their agenda. This is called respect for "international law".
