The black (as in "dark") joke in this news is that not long ago, a few weeks in fact, the albanians in here were yelling and shouting left and right that Kossovo is the next super power producing area in Europe and everyone should be careful how we deal with them and they will get rich and powerful due to energy production and other things like that.
I fail to see how a power failing area will be the power center of Europe, at least for the next 30 years to come, when by that time noone will be in need of the (then) outdated Kossovian power production.

Lets wait for Mr.Buzhala's comment, from Kosovo's daily newspaper Express. He is doing a masive job these days, writting some of "his opinions" about crisis in electricity in his country. He wants a resign of Kosovo's minister of electricity Mrs. Shiroka, as a new start of "lightness decade" !

Thank you, Louie, your postings always brighten up my day (or night). so often you say what i am thinking; but somehow from you in comes out a tad less, how shall i say it, a tad less didactic. and also your postings seem to actually get published :)

it is so challenging to always take the high road when we are up against so much hatred and bitterness. but still you seem to manage, and i honestly respect that.

K-albanians are not only neighbours, but citizens of the republic of Serbia. they ARE equals to the Serbs, when will you understand it finally?

if you are one of those, who came over the albanian mountains into our southern province, you might not have the serbian citizenship. but then, I don´t think you should be complaining, since then you are not equal to serbian citizens ( be it ethnic Serbs or Albanians ).

and once again, you are not a state, my dear.

a state, in the true meaning of that word, does not only have the ability to keep the light running,... a real state does not depend from others...

so, what you now have, is legal autonomy within Serbia. everything else is mere wishful thinking.

hmmm... I guess by nowadays "standards" Kosovo passed the novelty title to S Ossetia and Abkhazia.

bmrusila,
my point is that one day you should show us some respect!
We are not so behind you when it comes to skills, even though you are the masters when it comes to manipulating, but we are learning,we are willing to learn and with the right attitude we will surprise some people!
On the hand I will never support any action which leads to ethnic cleansing,I don't hate Serbs,I just want them that for once treat us as equals,it is for their benefit!!!

that you don't like others to do to you"!!!

I am not surprised at comments from our neighbours!
Even in situations like these they find "nice" words!

I don't understand why so much hatred!
Instead of feeling sorry that someone in the 21st Century doesn't have enough electricity supply, they go and have fun of the situation!
Kosovo is the newest country in the World, not to many people believed that it will happen, you can call it muppet, puppet, fake state, but one thing for sure you can't say that Serbia has control over Kosovo!
Enjoy your day my dear neighbours!

Louie,

And your point is?

The thing is that you had 9 years to solve this problem out and you still did not. Is it because of incompetence? While Kosovo was under control of Belgrade, there was plenty of electricity, event to export. Just don’t put blame on Serbs because Serbs have nothing to do with this, since Thchi and Haradinaj made sure to kill or remove all the competent people from the province.

There is nothing to feel sorry for you guys, it is purely your fault. As you said, it is 21.century and you have no idea how to manage one of the simplest problems. What may we expect when it comes to something more demanding?

How do you think to run the province when the province faces such high level incompetence in every field?

And this is not the talk or the language of hatred as you put it, but the reality and critique. Since there are the Serbs living in the province, it is just natural to be concerned for their quality of lives that you Albanians jeopardize partly due to lack of the skills, and partly due to your wish to exterminate all the Serbs from Kosmet province.

Wait to run a country Thaci...

I wonder where all those funds from the donations that were given out went to??? What a country Kosovo is.. can't even provide electricity for their own "citizens".

Serbs do not worry.. because just like in any country.. the minority is the richest and most wealthiest.. and the same will go for this ""country""..

Mark my words, in Kosovo.. the most wealthiest of people over time will be the Serbs, Gorani.. and you know of course the unrecognized Kosovo "government".

Yep, the Kosovo economy will be booming under these sort of situations, who doesn't love abit of darkness! Honestly, if this faux independence is to continue, how do you expect those trillions of euros of investment to come through, when the flashy sign leading into Pristina is switched off? They might aswell travel onto Belgrade, atleast the power is on!
