Duro wrote “Funny since Kostunica is the only politician to have fought against Tito and never join his communist party unlike some others…”

No Duro, there were many others that have fought against Tito. A lot of them did not survive the Goli Otok. And they were not only Serbs – there were Croats, Montenegrins, Macedonians, Roma, Albanians (my father, a sworn anti-Soviet/anti-communist included).

However, you’re trying to say that Serbia suffered under Tito? Why, because he was a Croat?

Could you elaborate how did you suffer?

The only thing I can deduce from your statements is that Serbia did not want to be an equal partner in the Federation, but wanted something more. Isn’t that what broke the federation to begin with?

With regard to Kostunica’s book – does it contain the famous recipe of “How to make a crowd burn embassies and get away with it?”

I already own "The Art of Oratory" book and I will be more than pleased to add Mr. Kostunica's book once it comes out.

I won't bother arguing with impossible albanians here since its clear that they don't like Kostunica for his defense of Kosovo which makes him all the more appealing as a politician.

bganon on the other hand has some bug up his pipe... Funny since Kostunica is the only politician to have fought against Tito and never join his communist party unlike some others.... and lost his job because of it! He's done more with his left shoe than Tadic or any other sorry excuse of a politician in power right now has ever done positive. Woe betide anybody who tries to actually make progress...indeed.

The breathtaking arrogance of the man 'defence of Kosovo' - unbelievable, as if he was the sole crusader and is now draping himself in patriotic colours on the issue.

Where was he post 2000 when Zoran Djindjic pressed for resolution of the issue? Where was he pre 2000 with any plans, any at all, as a slight alternative to the Milosevic view on the issue?

I suppose he must have been making speeches. Yes, I forgot (petulant) talk is all that matters to this man. Woe betide anybody who tries to actually make progress...

Kostunica, now out of PM office, has not enough money just with MP salary. This is time for him to sell some speeches.
It is guaranteed that he will make some money now that Kosovo’s cake is still hot.
