The moronic "West" lost the unique chance fully backing Gorbachov's efforts, opening itself to the "East" - while working hard to prevent brake-aways. Instead in their greed they did EVERYTHING to alienate much of Soviet Union and hence sabotage the democracy process.

Under normal circumstances NATO should not exist to begin with. But it seems, greed and marasmic "thinking" prevailed. We expected the Gorbachovian "European House" being in process of building decades ago and by now it should become a palace. Instead, we have a shanty town with no public service and waste flowing everywhere.

Too bad for him that the dominant nation in the Balkans is not interested in the Nato, and the Balkans cannot be under control without Serbs on-board. Those who ally with Serbs will control the Balkans.

The problem the serbs have with receiving medical supplies in Kosovo doesn't lie with NATO.

It lies with the Fact that the K-albanian's have consistently done everything in their power to deny serb medical centres the supplies they need as evidenced by their latest action (or in this case - inaction).

Why is it that the current shipment has been held up in customs for 15 days - despite pristina having agreed to the World Health Organisation's demands that these clearances take no longer than 24 hours?

This is the 6th time this has happened.

Is this how you define 'robust respect for minority rights' in your 'pseudo-state'?

Yes they are, officially in few months period! Macedonia will soon be too, once resolves the name dispute with Greece. The only country that it's not and does not want to joint NATO is Serbia, surrounded by NATO countries in every corner.

Its good that everyone but Serbia will be in NATO. Why should Serbs fight and die in Iraq, Afghanistan,Georgia and quite possibly Iran? NATO's teeth are beginning to fall out. It/U.S copped a nice back-hander by the Ruskie's with regard to Georgia and there is nothing they could/can do about it apart from Condi pulling mean faces on CNN and meeting with Saakashvilli.
