Bosnian Muslim’s war crimes trial opens

The war crimes trial of Bosnian Muslim Mirsad Repak, accused of crimes against Serb civilians, begins in Oslo today.

Several hundred suspected war criminals living in Norway seems a bit high. What made them go to Norway?
Did they think they would be safe there?
If the suspects think that Norway is a safe country for them then maybe they should all be sent to Hague which is even more friendly to any anti Serb criminal.

If all these war criminals can be tried in countries other than Netheralds, why did Serbia just extradite Karadjic to Hague? Couldn't he get a fair trial in Serbia?
