David, it is the Catholic church who should change as the Pope is basically a dictator who tells the world how to think.

No human can represent God on earth which is what the Pope is supposed to do.
At least the Orthodox church is a democracy which is represented by the fact that more than one person makes decisions.
Sometimes they don't agree but at least they consult and discuss.
What does Vatican do? Dictate.

"We cannot see such divisions in Italy, Germany etc. The teaching of Orthodox Church must change."

Yet it was the Roman Catholic hierarchy heavily involved in protecting (mostly homosexual) child molesters and rapists for many decades (if not centuries). The criminal priests were allowed to continue their evil where they were or simply moved to another parish.

The Orthodox Church and the entire sphere of Orthodoxy can only survive with one elected official with head office in Constantinople’s. No nation in the world is as disunited and prompt to divisions as the Slavic nations. The best example is the Serbia, Soviet Union etc. We cannot see such divisions in Italy, Germany etc. The teaching of Orthodox Church must change.
