Artemije previously criticized Teodosije for allowing Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu to visit the High Dečani monastery, and state authorities for not using force to defend the province.
======================

Artemije, he surely is Christ's man!
I wonder when was the last time he actually bothered to read the bible.

I have a feeling this is only about money. Politics and Kosovo status are just for cover.

There are millions to share now for the reconstruction and the greed is stronger than faith... apparently.

Artemije is quite clear in his political message, but not so clean in his business dealings. Of course if caught he will blamed on the traitors.

Anytime, I hear a "nationalist" becoming vocal, I start doubting he has something to hide.

Albanian Diaspora Raised $100+ Million

"Bishop Artemije has the support of the diaspora"

Ah, the Serb diaspora that is making a fortune as Serbs in Serbai suffer! Why don't you 'diaspora' come and 'fight' for Kosova from Serbia, or better yet, buy a house in Kosovo, your 'Jerusalem' instead of inciting from far away.

Bishop Teodosije seems right on his conclusions about Kosovo. Serbia and the Orthodox Church of Serbia must be separated apart as two distinct organizations, for the sake of liberty of thought in Serbia, security in Kosovo, and progress for both.

Bishop Artemije has the support of the diaspora and He is a highly regarded spiritual man. We respect His judgement regarding rebuilding of destroyed monasteries and churches in Kosovo and Metohija, which were destroyed by Albanian KLA separatists and also His
judgement not to kow-tow and not to communicate with, unrecognized by many many countries, a band of KLA separatists.

"Cooperate but not necesssarily recognize"

Very easy to understand, for 500 years that was the case with the Ottomans, and now, for a short while, that may be the case with NATO (for the K-Albanians out there let's be clear they are the ones that really run the province).

Aahhh...the good ol' face of organized religion...

The corporate side..

Honnestly, the Serbian people had it the best from '43 to '83 when it comes to religious freedom.

You don't need Vatican Incorporated, SPC Inc, or the Islamic Conglomerate.

Do yourselves a favor, the sooner you realize just how hopeless religion ACTUALLY is, the better you will be off in life.

It seems that we have a realist versus a zealot conflict here. Interesting that the realist understands that democratic societies are usually secular in nature - church and state are separate. I applaud him for his progressive attitude. Serbia needs more like him.

"Cooperate but not necesssarily recognize" does not make any sense at all.The Serb religious leaders need to realize the new reality and respect it.Serb on Serb violence is just the beginning.....

Should albanians be blamed for this too?
Not only serb politicians but even serb religious leaders are clashing between each other.
What does this say for serbs?
