Pijetro, have you forgotten already the State Department's insistence on Kosovo's territorial integrity or are you only now paying attention to what they have to say.

Well it looks like Russia will become isolated but to make sure that it doesn't feel to lonesome, we'll throw Serbia in for free.

Now all we need is reforms at the UN (more permanent members, no vetos, no Russia) and viola!

@ miri.

You should re-examine your question..

It's Georgia, in fact, that states it will never recognize Kosovo.
Perhaps when Georgia formally recognizes Abkhazia and South Ossetia, then of course.....Perhaps Belgrade might rethink its' own policy..

Until then.......Watch history simply repeat itself, and look for all the similarities that we have seen in the past...

Oh yes....The word "Territorial Integrity" seems to get thrown around by the State Department lately..

How ironic.

While the Serbian people don't have what to eat in Serbia, you guys send "humanitarian help to S/Osetia" WOW. I seem to remember a couple a months ago when you were asking for Humanitarian help from RUSSIA.

It's good that Serbia is sending aid to simple people. This is by all means a good gesture however I can't help but ask two cynical questions.
Will Serbia recognize South Ossetia in a near future?
Is Serbia hoping that South Ossetia WILL NOT recognize Kosova? :)
