Dan...
It is sad to see that we still have such people in Kosovo... It is time to move on and Serbs should return home to where the lived and where we all lived together. We have to get over this stupid hatred and live like normal people. We have for once to look at the lowest level of how such things have affected normal people and not only politic bullshit. These people have been displaced and they have not been able to find peace in Serbia either...On the other hand, those K Serbs that have committed crimes in Kosovo should refrain from returning...because those criminals are not welcomed!! Ordinary citizens should resume their lives and for once lets get over this...

Its depressing to read that some posters support ethnic cleansing.

Those who were thrown out of their homes have the right to return to them. And they also have the right to their own political opinion.

"the serbs have no right to return to kosovo because they are not welcomed they have lost the right to live in kosovo since 1999.they need to stay in serbia.

with racist attitudes such as dan's, can you blame for K-Serbs for not wanting to be under Prisitna? Such attitudes will only make K-Serbs in north Kosovo cling even more tightly than ever to their de facto partition.

Woah!! Now - I am not sure what your meaning of "pressured" imply, but anyone coerced, forced or whatever to leave his/her home should of course be able to return as soon as possible to his/her original place of living.

Anything less than that is unacceptable.

If that means a massive increase of police presence in the area to discourage and prevent attacks on minorities - well, that is a cost that the Kosovo government will have to accept if they want to present themselves as a democratic state with respect for basic humans rights, the right to live in safety.

PRN, Serbia is not going to recognize Kosovo's independence. You and everyone else knows this. Ivanovic is one of the most practical individuals in Kosovo, and also one of the most willing to cooperate for the sake of moving forward. But no one should misinterpret these statements as a sign that Serbs are accepting some sort of "reality" constructed by Pristina. Rather, the K Serbs are finally starting to take matters into their own hands, no doubt buoyed by the elections that led to the Serb Assembly. Should some form of cooperation develop between Pristina and Mitrovica over issues such as Serb returnees, that's a good sign, but it seems Mitrovica will be the one spearheading this operation.

It is unfortunate that the Serbia's policy on Kosova is running like a headless chicken. It is so inappropriate to talk about the return of refugees without Serbia recognising Kosova as an independent first. Even a kid can understand why at this stage the return of Serbian refugees to Kosova is so important for Serbia just to destibilise Kosova.

Of course, NO TIME TO WASTE, as it will soon be proposed to become Serbia's Embassy in Prishtina, (Republic of Kosovo).

Ivanovic would be good as a the 1st Serbian Ambassador in Kosovo.

those K-Serbs who were pressured to leave after 1999 can be helped to return to the north where they will have safety in numbers. This will also further solidify the already existing de facto partition at the Ibar.

I knew that. It is about time when K-Serb will come to sense to realize that you cannot rule other nation and it is time to respect Kosovo's border, Kosovo's institution, and partecipate to make things better in Kosovo for sake of its people.
