It seems that the Serbs are bent on humiliating themselves yet again. If they attempt to remove the sign they, at the very least, will be gladly prosecuted by the Republic of Kosova.

"Bas, youare probably wrong there, the sign is probably paid for by EU taxpayers :-("

Srboslave,
we know Kosova is poor, what can we do? EU is helping us and soon we'll return the favor somehow. It was poorer under Serbia.

"We thank you for walking over the terrorist KLA and you would still be there if it were not for politics and Milosevic pulling out prematurely for suspect reasons"

How many of them are war criminals? As for them still being there: I doubt it. KLA would have been armed by Albania over and over again while Serbia would have been bankrupt.

In what a sad World we are living!
Some bunch of pensioners complaining after not finishing the "job",it bothers them the sign :"Dobrodosli u Republiku Kosova" at the Merdare crossing!!!
Kosovo is the newest country in the World!!!
I never thought I will live this moment!
Isn't it great,Kosovan People are running the show!

True and brave Serbian heroes! Remove the sign with confidence and Serbia hopes to see you securing the borders of Kosovo with albania and macedonia as per 1244 in the future. It is inevitable according to international law that the Serbian forces return to delineate the sovereign Serbian borders.

We thank you for walking over the terrorist KLA and you would still be there if it were not for politics and Milosevic pulling out prematurely for suspect reasons.

You come down to Kosova, you'll get arrested. We got all your names and who and how many you killed. You're welcome to come down, that way you save us the expenses of locating you before we throw you in jail.

This are the same people who packed Albanians in trains and sent them off to the Macedonia border, never mind raping and killing a portion of them.

Where are Serbia's priorities?

...by the way the sign reads "Welcome to Republic of Kosova". If someone touches and destroys a property owned and paid for by Kosovan people, you will be arrested and charged with tresspas and intention to damage. The charges may extend if the authorities decide to do a background check on your past life, otherwise as the sign reads Welcome to Republic of Kosova. My advise as per an english say "Look but dont touch!!".
