sorry bmurusila, but I cannot share your opinon. from my point of view, the statements of the SPS speaker are are a rare statement in favor of democratic behaviour. as long as basic rules are ignored, Serbia is not a democracy yet.

of course it is ironic, that a speaker of SPS has to remind Serbian politicians on basic rules - but this is no reason to deprive them the right to act in the framework of their mandate.

Yes, we need to impose the rules in parliament. No doubt about it. The opposition should be allowed to oppose normally but not use parliamentary sessions to market themselves or to engage in long and rambling monologues.

Poor Serbia when SPS became some relevant factor with power to influence the state policy. What is sad with the SPS is the fact that they completely changed their political platform and beliefs just for a crumb of power.

“It would be easier for us to go into new elections, but I do not believe that this is in the best interests of the citizens,” the SPS official explained.”

-This was not honest statement. The best interests of the citizens is to have new elections, but of course that option is not preferable because SPS know exactly what they would get and that is nothing, big nothing.
