From the article:

"Bilateral political relations are based on mutual understanding, respect, equality, and non-interference in the internal affairs of other states," they said.

Now that is something I just don't agree with. If my neighbour is doing something that I think is wrong, like beating up his wife and kids, I will speak out my mind on the issue, despite him telling me that "it is an internal, family affair". If me speaking up hurts our relation, so what? Why would I want to have good relations with someone that does bad things?

The same principle should of course apply to governments. Hiding behind that "internal affair" excuse is simply lame and cowardice.

Because of China's self-interest over Taiwan and Tibet, it will together with Moscow block any attempt by Kosovo to join the UN. And the West will be powerless to anything about it, except to fume and pull out their own hair.

With the Raise of China coming on full swing, these type of relationships are very important for Serbia.

I am glad visit to China for the Olympics has been utilized to the maximum in relations to maintaining Chinese support for Serbia and Serbia's soverginity.

Jeremic still has a lot of work to do before ICJ assembley, but so far so good. Make yourself count Serbia, you are NOT a German/American satelite state, like many around you are. Don't become one now!
