UN report critical of K. Mitrovica court raid

Guilty beyond reasonable doubt. The UN and NATO are guilty.

The raid was carried on an especially sensitive date for the Kosovo serbs - the 4th anniversary of the province-wide pogrom carried out against them by large numbers of the K-albanian population in 2004.

It was carried out on the same day that Samardzic was due to visit Kosovska Mitrovica.

It was carried out against the advice of UNMIK's local chief in Kosovska Mitrovica, Gerard Galluci who predicted that it would lead to violence.

As indeed it did.

The people who bear primary responsibility for the consequences are the UNMIK heads in pristina at the time - Joachim Ruecker & Larry Rossin.

Was blindingly obvious at the time & forthcoming report can only confirm this.

What is the incentive of UN there to behave if no punishment is going to be administered?

Yes the UN and NATO are guilty. It is a disgrace that the UN is allowed to stay in the USA. There are many here that would love to see the USA get out of the UN.

I was in Belgrade two weeks ago and it felt good to be in a country that has the guts to stand up to the UN and its stooge, NATO

Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić reacted to the news today by telling B92 that he was satisfied with the findings, and stressing that they came as a result "of persistant insistance by the government in Belgrade".
