No it is not justified!! Why the goverment of Serbia wants to have relation with land robbers..???

It is best to continue the freeze until they end their occupation of kosovo province.

"Đukić-Dejanović said that there were a number of countries that had been on the verge of recognizing Kosovo’s unilateral independence, but after learning that Serbia would be seeking the opinion of the International Court of Justice, had decided to postpone their decision, even though the U.S. was exerting pressure on them not to wait. "

That's something that has really died down, hasn't it? The whole recognition process ended with Liberia and will probably have some isolated stragglers here and there, but talk of these waves just seems unlikely, especially with BRIC influence, I just don't see them coming anymore really.

I know that most Albanians here will use the example of Montenegro and Croatia, but they were recognized by the Security Council and by the General Assembly, Kosovo just does not seem to be heading in that direction and will continue to sit amongst Palestine, Sahrawi Republic and Taiwan as a partly-recognized state.

Peter,

Sodor will recognize within two weeks and they will even build a railway there, since the Kosovo Rail belongs to "ЖС" and can't get into any organization like UIC.

In a year or two you will see "Thomas", "Gordon", "Percey" huffing and puffing between PR and PZ.

Otherwise the return of ambassadors to EU is not enough. The ambassador has to return to Washington, DC as well. Maybe the plan is to return the ambassador after bush is gone? I understand it - but in cases like the CNN-blunder

there need to be someone in Washington, DC who is leading the fight. CNN's butt has to be sued for millions and this would be a very easy case.

...and Taiwan as a partly-recognized state.
(Peter Sudyka, 1 August 2008 17:25)

"Taiwan" would be the "Republic of Northern Kosovo", with Northern Kosovska Mitrovica as capital. Not recognized by anyone, having economic advantage, de-facto independent, claimed by Serbia to be "part of Serbia" - but not executing the claim for extended period of time simply for saving the lives.

"Kosovo Proper" will be slightly more than "Northern Cyprus": recognized by few dozen countries, hold hostage of own politics, horribly confused and in the case Turkey (for Kosovo: Albania) joins EU completely "left behind".

I expect both N. Cyprus and Kosovo to be the last of all wanna-be(s)/candidate(s) to join EU and the feeling to trail Turkey and Albania plus of course Serbia respectively will be frustrating.

Wonder where that wave is that some of these guys keep talking about? Been wearing these 'wading boots' for the last 7 weeks & haven't seen a ripple!

let's say: they just came back home to see the Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade LIVE ... and let's have an eye on Jeremic's BONUS MILES !

Of course,...

It was convenient to Serbian government to save 43 Ambasadors salaries for nearly 6 months...in order to pay Jermic's hopeless trips abroad to change the unchangeable - Kosovo independence...
