I actually saw lots of courage from this new goverment. I personally think Koštunica should learn something from these new people...Ajde!

so let's see, how couraged Prof. Dr. Koštunica will be tomorrow at the ... of course he did say nothing against the extradiction of Milosevic ... following the logic of JOVAN this happend maybe, because Milosevic was born in Montenegro

check your info more properly, Jovan, before commenting. you forget to say, that Haradinaj and Oric did not hide, as many other heroes did. Kostunica is wrong - he does not understand the meaning of this court and he is not eager, to show this to the public.

Jovan I didn't say Kostunica handed over Milosevic personally. But he sanctioned it as Vladan Batic outlined already. And we have evidence in the fact that he did not threaten to resign - ie the issue was not important to him, so the bellyaching was just another one of his performances.

And what about all the others he sent to the Hague, forgot about them? I can name them if you like.

Radovan Karadzic is from Bosnia as well. Doesn't make any difference whether he is Montenegrin or has Croatian citizenship. Either its wrong to send them to the Hague or it is not. You can't have it both ways.

You are right Mr. Kostunica, the government is now in uncomfortable seat.
The Hague tribunal has discredited itself when it acquitted Naser Oric war criminal of crimes against Serbian civilians.
The Hague tribunal has discredited itself when it acquitted Ramash Haradinaj against crimes committed on Serbian civilians.
The Hague tribunal has no place to put on trial a Serb when it is anti-Serbian and racist. This political court which is out to get Serbs must be closed down.
In uncomprehensible shame many world leaders have come out and found Karadzic guilty before his trial. These same leaders have created the Hague tribunal.
Can the Serbian government fathom this because the Serbian civilians have!

"Funny I don't remember where Kostunica left his courage when Milosevic and some dozen other Hague indictees were extradited under his rule."

bganon, first of all, Prof. Dr. Koštunica did not hand out Milosevic, check your sources more properly.

furthermore, yes Serbia has extradited individuals who have allegedly commited crimes in Bosnia and which are not citizens of the republic of Serbia.

again, check your info mor properly, before commenting.

and last, but not least, that happened at the time he obviously still had hope that this kangaroo court could evntually turn out to be a fair institution.

but with the cases of the criminals haradinaj and oric at the latest, this political institution has shown its real dedication.

Once again Mr. Koštunica seems to say simply the truth.

Vojo is right, but he's using the wrong terminology. Basically replace courage with corruption. It seems $5 million is enuf to buy the Serbian government (see interview with Luka Karadzic on RussiaToday.com).

I am curios though if SPS is getting its fair share of the moneys. If it's not then bye bye DS-SPS coalition and hello new elections. I can't help but feel sorry for the citizens of my poor nation. So many treacherous leaders, will it ever end? Time will tell I suppose.

Tough talk from a man who would go out of his way to sell his mother into slavery in order to get his way.

bganon, I completely agree with you. Had Koštunica had the moral fortitude and bravery that Tadić has exhibited in the past 6 months, Kosovo would still be a part of Serbia and the SAA would have already been implemented. What you're seeing is a case of sour grapes from Vojo because he's seeing progress that he could never have dreamed of accomplishing.

Zivio Vojo! Everything that Kostunica has been trying to impress upon the Serbian people is logical and patriotic. It would be difficult for any citizen of ANY country to dispute what he has to say- UNLESS your country is making up rules as they go, for their own agendas. Vojo- continue being the conscience of the Serbs- don't let our overt and covert enemies trample what's in the best interest of the Serbian nation.

Funny I don't remember where Kostunica left his courage when Milosevic and some dozen other Hague indictees were extradited under his rule.

Still, I'm sure it takes plenty of courage to pander to the right in Serbia, when they are threatening journalists, politicians, policemen and anybody else who takes a different view. Brave man that Kostunica.

It takes courage to face the recent past and finally do what should have been done long time ago. Kostunica can talk all what he wants but if he did what this goverment is doing Serbia already would have signed the SAA deal, would have had a better chance in keeping Kosovo etc.

“ In an interview to be published in tomorrow’s daily Glas Javnosti, Koštunica says that the current government “doesn’t have the bravery to launch the issue of the Hague Tribunal’s legitimacy,”

Absolutely true and how else would Tadic acquire the title of world’s leader? Don’t ask anything, accept everything you are told and implement everything you are told and there you have it.

“It’s possible that there are a lot of interested parties who’ll try to turn the Radovan Karadžić trial into a trial of the Republic of Srpska,

-I fear that this is again absolutely true and very likely to happen. I am looking forward to see how the current government will deal with this issue when the trial turns into circus against Republika Srpska and entire Serbian population.
