Bad Gorilla, unlike your leaders of Kosovo, Mr. Dodik has not been accused of any crimes at all and his little statelet has more right to exist than independent Kosovo because it was allowed to in the UN.

Now I think that Mr. Dodik is wrong when he thinks that Karadzic has not been convicted of anything wrong.
According to Richard Holbrook, Mr. Karadzic will not be coming out of Hague.
What does that tell you? It tells me he has already been found guilty and convicted by America.
He will not be getting a fair trial as he has already had one behind the scenes.

Bad Gorilla,

All of what you said may have some legitimacy to a degree, and RS is far from being a politically transparent region. But RS's fate does not hang on Karadzic. They could convict him on all counts and lock him up for life, but RS is going to continue to be where it is. Short of either seceding from Bosnia and/or joining with Serbia (neither of which seem likely), I see RS de facto presence in Bosnia as a definitive reality.

If Dodik were really leading his statelet in the so-called “modern way”, he would not have kicked Transparency International out of the eastern half of Bosnia.

Anyway, beside these statements, the nationalistic rethoric of Milorad Dodik is very, very similar to the rethoric of Radovan Karadzic, the president-founder of Republika Srpska, had in the 90’s.

Fortunately, the JNA and the VRS don’t exist anymore...
