Blue and Gold,

I'll take that as an bi lateral agreement between ourselves...

Serbia and US have not signed any agreements pertaining to extradition, therefore, the request by the US is void.

Is it snowing yet in Jamaica?

Michael,
You have forgotten to mention one very important piece of information. US and these countries that you talk about sign a bilateral agreement that US soldiers of which you mentioned cannot be extradited or tried in the country in which they have been accused of a crime. It’s not just because the US constitution might say something similar (which I am not sure it does but I’ll take your word for it). Therefore, your argument is flawed as Serbia does not have such an agreement with US.

Adriano,

To answer your question, I hope you wait until it's a snowy day in Jamaica for all I care.

Perhaps you need to expel and extradite US soldiers who murder and rape on behalf of democracy. From Okinawa, Japan, Korea, and now Iraq and Afghanistan, US soldiers doing ungodly things to it's occupying subjects. As most of it's soldiers are honorable and doing an amazing job which need recognition and commendation bad apples do commit crimes. It is a fact that none of those crimes go unpunished outside the jurisdiction of US courts. Why? Because US has a policy of not extraditing it's citizens to any foreign country based on the US constitution. No organization, not even the UN has precedent over it's citizens as judge and jury. If it's good for the US, it's certainly good for Serbia.

If you want justice, which Serbia has offered, take him to trial in Serbia and roll the dice. If not, your lynching will just have to wait!

If it is all rhetoric..then why did Kovacevic run away like a coward. Obviously his parents have money so they could afford a high priced lawyer to defend their son. This whole story stinks. Kovacevic thought that he could run away from responsibility. He thought he could just slip away to Serbia and that it wouldn't matter. I am glad that this boy is coming out of a coma and I hope that this criminal Kovacevic will be brought to justice. PS Apparently US law suited Kovacevic while enjoying himself on a paid tuition ride in NY. I think Kovacevic thinks he is above the law!!

did he or did he not beat someone into a comma?
did he or did he not accapt the US rules regulations and its benefits while IN the US?

Pathetic, Serbia is once again showing itself trying to defending criminals. Are we going to wait 13 years for this criminal too, to face justice?

The rhetoric coming from New York, especially from Senator Clinton is very dissapointing and bullish.

Serbia can not extradite a citizen under these circumstances, yet the US seems to think it is above anyone's law, the wild west.
