I understand the demonstrations. Big things are happening in Serbia right now and not everybody is happy about it. But the demonstrations really would be more effective without these hooligan incidents. Then more normal people would attend and the demonstrations would be taken more seriously.

The attackers shouldn't be blamed?

Now where did I say the attacker should not be blamed?

My question - who is the attacker? If you see him in the video he is wearing some kind of badge/ID that he is covering with one hand while kicking the cameraman. He looks like some kind of official and certainly not like a protester.

Now with the police in full riot gear just 5 metres away, why didn't they do anything?

It says a lot about the SRS supporters.every time they organize something it ends up with destruction and injured people.

B92,
you should do a fundraising campaign for the cameraman. Paypal makes it easy and even $10 from a person here and there adds up. I'm in.

ZK-"So why didn't the police do anything? And you blame the protesters? Who was that man filmed attacking?"

Police were standing five meters from the incident, dressed in full riot gear and did nothing to stop the attack.

So why didn't the police do anything? And you blame the protesters? Who was that man filmed attacking? It looks like he had a press badge or something. Also, there were lots of other cameras filming at the time - so why didn't anyone capture it?

And who does B92 blame? Nationalists and the SRS?

Sounds to me like a typical agent provocateur incident. Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agent_provocateur

No wonder B92 has little sympathy when it throws around baseless accusations. It also shows little respect to the injured cameraman.

I hope he recovers well.
