Bganon, I will tell you what gives.

You seem to be very critical of Serbian actions here. Serbs have their critics like Albanians, Croats and Bosnian Muslims. They need some support, but instead you have decided to jump the fence and join our enemies in their efforts to belittle us by sarcasm.

Haven't you noticed that you are only supported by the other side here? Serbs are not in agreement with you. Do you seriously think that you are right and all the others wrong?

If you cannot support the people you call your own (I don't care what your nationality is, but you said my people yourself), then try not to use the same weapons against them.

If the police operated according to the manual they had in the background and the surroundings secret agents who took pictures. In that case we can soon expect a process against the perpetrators. Punishment is the only thing that stops this behaviour.

Yes you are right Peggy sarcasm is much, much worse than abusing somebody physically or verbally isn't it. Naughty me.

Instead of focussing on my alleged transgressions, why not dwell on your own? Do you think it is fair to call my identity into question simply because you disagree with me, or is that your idea of democracy?

And its interesting that you are willing to tolerate other self declared Serbs abuse me here but the moment I criticise somebody in a crowd you have never even met, who may have been involved in criminal activity, you jump to his defence.

What gives?

I support Peggy. She is a beautiful woman who just wants the best for her Nation. I cry for Serbia every day & even more since the psudeo election farce. President Nikolic should now be sitting in the presidential palace and Russian peacekeepers should be patrolling the streets of Mitrovica protecting the Orhodox Christian Serbs. Jugoslavia was a great Country. Dear Serbs do not give up, ever. What ever the costs!

This is a disgrace. Th epoor B92 guy was just doing his job, trying to feed his family and does not deserve to suffer for months. That drunk hooligan /Arkan supporter that kicked him should be sit in jail for a long long time.

If B92 was not so anti-Serbian and stopped spreading western propaganda, then maybe its reporters and cameramen would not get attacked. Your pleading calls for support from your fellow journalists are pathetic: You are ignored by your western heroes because you are based in Serbia.

ZK you don't even care what is true if it contradicts some theory you made up.

And as for a few hundred protestors representing the opinions of Serbians, well if that was the case there would be many, many more protestors.

Still, keep on dreaming if it makes you happy.

I feel sorry for the B92 camerman, and my sympathies go to his family...I wish him speedy recovery...I am glad that he was not killed.

B92, why do not ban radical comments by ZK UK,...he criticizes everyone and everything that is not along his line of thinking.
His rhetoric is typical of that of Milosevic, Kostunica, Seselj...

You know HOW MUCH you are paying for deeds and rhetoric of those leader, and GOD know how much more you have to endure before you begin to stand on your foot again...

I don't understand very much the comments from Roberto regarding this instance. I am wondering why he cares for Serbia at all. I don't think he has been to Belgrade to see the buildings destroyed by the US in our illegal attacks on a Serbia. The US who now has what it wants in Camp Bondsteel to facilitate drug trafficking through Kosovo and to have access to the Middle East and oil pipelines from Asia by recognizing Kosovo. I am ashamed of the US for the actions taken in Serbia, not supporting the Serbs during the Pogrom by the Albanians in Kosovo. The US never made reparations for damage and deaths in the illegal war in 1999.

Americans have no history really as a nation and can't begin to understand anything in the Balkans. America had to kill the native people here to gain and conquest the US. We fought a revolutionary war across an ocean. We are real heroes.

I do know that Serbs have heart and soul that so called free speech open society folks want to destroy. It is easy for a smug American to make comments in a country that they never had to worry about anything to have a life.

In regards to B92, I consider them a front for this open society that the West want so impose on the Serbian people. The people in this protest are not all crazy hooligans which again the West wants to promote. I wish B92 would do more stories on the people of Serbia, their desires and who they are.

I don't know how many of the reporters at B92 are really Serbian in their own souls. It is sad to see this incident and here they are asking again for condemnation for their own people. Like the Serbs don't get condemned from the outside enough. My God let them be and give yourself a little distance from the Serbs at these protests. Remember you are observers and outsiders. These people are pretty smart, they know what you are doing. Looks like you got what you want another story to show how bad the Serbs are. I really think B92 has a lot of money from the outside and is not there to support the Serbian people. Even though in their high mind may think they are.

I do not condone any violence against the reporters doing their job. If this man was deliberately targeted then it's a shame but it should not reflect on all the protestors.

There is always going to be someone in every crowd who is using the event to vent their frustations on others, so please spare us the nonsense of this is what happens when radicals take over.

Bganon, you are regressing to a new low now. You have started to use sarcasm against who you call your own people.
If you don't agree with them, please at least don't target them for sarcasm. Leave that to the usual crowd like Albanians.

I feel sorry for the cameraman.

I condemn b92 for not providing sufficient enough support to it's staff to ensure their safety. Of course there will be heated passion at such a rally, workers of b92 should call for Industrial Action to ensure that there employer looks after them better in future events.

I comdemn, without hesitation or ambiguity, any and all attacks against journalists and related press people. it is sickening, immoral and has no place in a democratic society. even one that is struggling to approach some kind of democratic society in the (far) future. human rights must be respected, and a nation's institutions must reinforce this, not add fuel to the fire.

thank god kostunica is now gone (i was 100% right about him, but don't you just hate people that say "i told you so.." were he still in power, the reaction on the ground would have been much, much worse, as after Kosova declared independence. you (serbian govt) still owes us on the damage to the embassies, thank you very much. and, oh yes, one young serb man died in the fire. another expendable collateral damage??

now, here is the thing about freedom of press/freedom of speech -- you have to support it, responsibly, or it means nothing. many, many times i have criticized b92 for allowing/promoting hate speech (mostly against albanians) and for consistently censoring anti-nationalist "outsider" posters such as myself. both things are indefensible. we give unqualified support to b-92 journalists (and their colleagues) who are in danger, off and on, working in serbia, especially at moments of crisis, which are often. but b92, as an institution, often does not support our voices, or full principles of responsible freedom of speech. am i understood? if necessary, i will have my words translated into your language.

these are not easy times, and i do not take these matters lightly, nor should any other responsible posters...

please send my best to the injured parties, yet more casualties of the madness.

ZK UK, where are your comments about this? What? Is your tongue tied? This is what happens when you advocate violence in the name of nationalism. Are you happy now? The cameraman from B92 is going to have a long and painful recovery, but you got what you wanted.

ZK UK

Attacked B92 cameraman? Yeah right!

Now that is a typical secret service operation to discredit the protests.

They are gathering momentum now and will get fairly large so stop attacking your own reporters bganon and blaming it on peaceful protesters - who represent the opinion of Serbians.

I don't expect B92 to report fairly on this event but keep the dictatorial tricks to a minimum if you dare.

bganon

pre 15 godina

A hat trick for me today, there were hmm about 700-800 people there today. Football supporters were out in force again but the police were not allowing any funny business.

The older people amongst the crowd look completely defeated though. Perhaps, just perhaps fresh momentum might be given to the protests by doing the usual trick, bussing in the crowds and giving them some pocket money, but I can't see the protest going on for very long.

PS And please posters, no cringeworthy witicisims about the name Brankovic...
