Russia will deliver some USD 1mn worth of medical equipment and a team of sappers to Belgrade today, says the Russian embassy.

The reason for that is that Kosovo has no infrastructure and needs to be built pretty much from scratch. Also look at the proportions.

As an outsider I think the Albanians have bet on the losing horse in this race. I believe that race is going to drag on but the US and its allies will lose this one. A geat deal depends on Israel-Iran which will take place later this year.

In the case of the “humanitarian help” to Kosovo Serbs, Russia is trying to “bribe” them to continue to boycotting Pristina.

The funny thing about the US pledging $400M to Kosovo's development is the fact that the US Government has to borrow that money and much more from the Chinese in order to keep on spending money it does not have like a drunken sailor on leave.Serbia does not need aid or handouts.What it does need is to attract billions of those Russian petrodollars in investments.Shalom

And after nine years, what have your friends in the NATO done to clean Kosovo of their unexploded cluster bombs and depleted uranium, Miri? The bombs are causing casualties to this very day, and only God knows the damage the uranium will do future offspring. Do you always have to have a negative attitude when something involves the Russians?
And Ishufi, the US pledged $400 million to help build Kosovo from the ground up, the Russians are making a humanitarian contribution. Do you understand the difference. When an act of goodwill is done, regardless that you hate Russians, why must you be so sarcastic? It's not good for your health.
