bganon, I will thank you not to twist my words. How did I compare myself to St. Sava. If you say that you take guidence from the bible or Jesus is that comparing yourself to God or Jesus?

You are so deperate now to discredit me that you have resorted to twisting my words. Pathetic really.

When did you say that Karadzic shoud go to Serbian court? You are constantly telling us that he should be extrodited to Hague. Who's shifting the posts now?

Hague is not a court. It is a farce and until decent people revolt against it and stop complying with it's demands we will have gross injustice done against the Serbs. I guess this doesn't bother you one bit.

I am all happy for Karadzic to have a chance to clear his name, but NOT IN HAGUE.

bganon

No Peggy where we differ is that I believe that he should answer the charges against him, preferably in a Serbian court.

You have not said that he should face trial at all.

Unbelievable that you should compare yourself to St Sava.

Try harder applying some of his principles, it will surely make you a better and more tolerant person.

Bganon, why are you so ready to believe the worst about Karadzic?
General MacKenzie never portrayed him as this evil monster that the western media has portrayed him to be.

There was so much propaganda about this man coming from the west that it would make your head spin. Actually, not only him but it seem that all of Sebrbs defenders have become war criminals. Coincidence?

I don't say that we should give medals to war criminals at all, but where you and I differ is that you believe all that is said about him and I don't.

As far as Bosnian Serbs are concerned I don't believe that you know what they would say even though you seem to presume.

You seem to take your guidence from mother Teresa where I would take mine from St. Sava. Perhaps that's where we also differ.

Peggy shifting the goalposts I see and contradicting yourself too....

You are only for punishing the guilty only if all the guilty are punished... Right so what you are saying is that we should let off the guilty if other guilty ones are not punished. I am for punishing as many guilty people as possible, no exceptions. Either you support the law or you do not.

'Start caring about your own for a change instead of others'.... 'bganon, you are one of those "Serbs" who don't give a damn about their fellow man. '

You sound confused, make your mind up Peggy. I love your kind of patriotism, you hate Serbs you disagree with but talk about putting them first.

bganon, a.k.a. Mother Teresa.
You know very well that this will not be a fair trial.
You know that they have let out the Muslims, Croats and Albanians, even though they are guilty but any Serb they cannot prove guilty dies in mysterious circumstances.

I am all for punishing the guilty, but only if all the guilty get punished and not just the Serbs.

BTW, if you care to educate yourself on exactly how guilty this man is do read something more credible than what come out of the west.
Have you even bothered to read a book by General Lewis MacKenzie called "Peacekeeper, the road to Sarajevo"? He is very credible and I tell you he doesn't think the same of the Serbs as you do and he is not even a Serb.
John Pilger has written a book titled "The new rulers of the world" in which he clearly states how 200,000 Serbs were ethnically cleansed from Kosovo under the watchful eye of the UN and how Serbia was bombed. They ran out of military targets in a couple of days and then it was civilian. This is a war crime and you don't even blink an eye.
Noam Chomsky would certainly disagree with you and he tells who exactly are the bad guys. So just maybe, Karadzic did not do all he is accused of doing. Have you even stopped to consider that so much propaganda was sent out into the world about him?

No, I don't think so. You are the same traitor to the Serbs as your pals in office now.

Don't you dare presume to lecture me on who are the good guys and who are the bad guys.

How about all the organ harvesting done by the KLA and nobody cares. Start caring about your own for a change instead of others. There are plenty of people in this world who care about the others and condemn the Serbs. We don't need you to do their dirty work.
Now get off your high moral horse.

bganon

Peggy YOU are telling me that I don't care about my fellow man!

You, who has more sympathy for those that conducted war than the victims are happy to lecture me. You have the gall to talk about 'fellow man' and then only talk of 'Serbian lives' as if other 'fellow man' lives are unimportant... And at the same time you don't even advocate a trial for those suspected of war crimes. What would you do? Set them all free? Perhaps give them the Nobel Peace Prize, or sainthood?

Now if political leaders and warlords for you are 'protectors' and not aggressors I got to wonder about whether you have witnessed conflict.

Mother Teresa figures and those that heal wounds are protectors, not men with guns.

bganon, you are one of those "Serbs" who don't give a damn about their fellow man.
You are quite happy to hand over the people who protected the vulnerable Serbs of Bosnia. It's so easy for you to sit in a cafe and judge.

Have you no heart? How many Serbian lives did this man help save, or aren't Serbian lives in Bosnia important to you? You are so happy to hand over the very people who fought for the Serbs to the wolves knowing very well that Hauge is not impartial and is only set up to punish the Serbs.

How else can you explain the walkouts of Croats, Muslims and Albanians but any Serb who they cannot convict ends up dying?

Do you really think that justice will be served here?
What would the Serbs of Bosnia think of you now? I suppose you don't care as your life wasn't in danger so you don't see the contribution this man has made to his people.

Karadzic’s arrest is the best European makeup new Serbian government can do. This is farce that although Europe apposes it, it cannot buy it. It was done on the next day of the successful visit to US of leaders of the new country Kosovo, each Serbia is trying too hard to fight against.
NATO, EU and all international community call on Serbia to arrest Mladic too. I know when this is going to happen. It is going to happen when Serbia has the last, a very last hope to “keep Kosovo out” from wide range of recognition and international institution membership. And if they will decide that arresting Mladic is not worth to try for this reason (so if they understood there is no hope for Kosovo) then Serbia will arrest Mladic right when it is the time for getting the EU candidate status. Then Mladic is more worth it “arrested” then “practicing …whatever….” in Beograd.

Oh what's the matter? Only 100 people this time? Last time it was several thousand, in the early 90s..several hundred thousand..

I love it, because even the die-hard nationalists are waking up and figuring out just what kind of lies they were exposed to.

bganon

Just watched it all unfold from the INEX cafe overlooking the square.

Pretty pitiful really, a few flags of the clero fascist organisation Obraz and perhaps a hundred hooligans - many of the same gang that vandalised Belgrade after the Kosovo protest.

They could be forgiven for thinking that the Serbian way was to let them have free reign. But they would be mistaken, that was the Kostunica way. Rule of law means that violence and vandalism will not be tolerated. The police were out in force. The days of robbing shops etc are over.

Interestingly there was a plain clothes policeman who filmed everything and was in constant communication with HQ, identifying gang leaders etc. The strange thing was that guy was normal, not some shady DB type. Perhaps a positive sign, if hooligans are going to be filmed, indentified and then arrested later - as they are in western countries, I suspect they will think twice about breaking the law under the protection of mob rule...
