Peggy, you said "just because they aren't in the Hague, doesn't mean they're innocent". The US wasn't protecting anyone. Didn't Haradinaj get indicted and acquited by an independent court in the Hague? It seems to me that you have absolutely nothing to say in your defense because when it comes to war criminals there simply is no excuse. Bring them all in to face justice and closure. If you really want to know what you should be ashamed of just read you Karadzic Hague indictment and watch the trial proceedings.

Azir, Azir, just because they are not in Hague doesn't mean they are innocent. While the US protecting them they will remain "innocent", but as soon as the US looks the other way we'll see.

BTW the human organ trade business is still under investigation. That's a crime to be really ashamed of.
What has Tadic done to you guys.

Peggy, could you name any current Kosovar politician under Hague indictment and still in office? I thought so... The former P.M., Mr. Haradinaj voluntarily went to the Hague to face charges, like a true brave man should. He was imprisoned and after trial the judges found our courageous freedom fighter innocent of all charges. If all the indicted Serbs are so innocent why didn't they all face their accusers like true men do? And one more thing, all of Yugoslavias victims do hold the moral high ground against the Serbs.Just ask your Tadic and Cvetkovic.

Peggy

Azir, when are the Albanians going to hand over their KLA leaders to Hague?
When are the Albanians going to hand over human organ harvesters and dealers to Hague?

I suppose you don't have anyone to hand over.
Don't preach to anyone as you certainly don't hold the moral high ground.

Peggy, according to you, any Serb who dares to co-operate with the international community,is "selling out".Could it be that PM Cvetkovic is in partial compliance with regard to war crimes fugitives from justice? Now he must demonstrate, beyond any reasonable doubt,Serbia will no longer support violence or provide a safe haven to war criminals. Serbia is on the right path, now all she needs to do is recognize the inevitable internationaly accepted new state of Kosova. Before she even thinks of joining the EU.

First: who hides beyond the bearded man called "Mirko Cvetković"?

A Society full of maskerade, playing ordinary life.
Ask yourself, your daddy, brother, uncle or neighbour, who he is and what has he done in Bosnia and Kosovo?

Peggy

Cvetkovic expects the Hague Tribunal to treat all suspects equally.

Is he naive or does he think that we are? Everyone knows that Hague is not impartial and certainly doesn't treat all equally. Have we had any deaths in custody on the Croatian, Muslim or Albanian side?
Have we had the criminals from these sides locked up or set free?

You cannot talk your way out of this one. Nobody believes your lies. Admit it, you have sold out.

The calls of Mr Cvetkovic, the calls of prevoius and future Cvetkovics for the remainig fugitives to surrender is only the true face of Serbian policy. Whenever Serbia feels threatened that it is loosing Kosovo day after day, far and away, it produces these quasi-moves as if they are catching the fugitives. C'mon now, they have been hidding in Serbia all the time, and they didn't see them? No way! It is just about the timing of when they should do the right move. Nothimg else! It doesn't matter who is runing Serbia. The policy is always the same, and it has been the same during the history. They would even sacrifice their own prince or king, just if it brings any benefits.

I am very convinced that very soon Serbia is going to "catch" Hadzic first, when the third round of Kosova independence recognition occurs, and then finally it will "catch" Mladic when the UN General Session is about to begin, when the newest state, Kosova, is going to be accepted as a full member.
Every time Serbia makes these moves, Kosova is more and more lost.

Cvetković said-

“One of the basic principles during the formation of the government was the principle of respecting international law. By meeting our obligations to the Hague, we are complying with both domestic and international law,” said Cvetković in a statement to the media.

International Law? What is that! Your country's boundraies are being redrawn, war criminals from other countries in the Balkan wars are getting off scott free and all you can do Mr. Cvetković is laugh (file foto) and praise Karadzic's arrest. Well there is nothing funny going on in Serbia. Way to go Serbia in electing "A TRUE SERBIAN" as your Prime Minister. Now thats a joke!

Positive, veeeeeery positive.
I am truly impressed with the steps this Government has undertaken. Good for Mr. Tadic. I predicted, long time ago this would happened as long as Kostunica was put on sidelines. He is the looser.
People have voted him out. More power to them!!!
Very positive, like a breath of fresh air.

The real story here is that a day before Karadzic was captured Prime Minister Cvetkovic's sps speaker postpones the parliment for two weeks.
Does anyone think that this was a coincidence? I imagine just like the day of protests in Belgrade when Tadic was in Romania, this DS parliment did not want to face the opposition and they knew that the Radicals and the DSS would question their comitment to a court that aquits Oric and abducts Karadzic.

"I call on the remaining Hague fugitives to turn themselves in, which will be much better for them and the Serbian people,” "

now the Serbs know what kind of person this "primeminister" is.
I am speechless.

For a second Cvetkovic's photo looked like Karadzic only trimmed beard and hair.

Did you notice how similar Saddam and Karadzic look after capture?

"Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković has called on the remaining Hague fugitives to surrender voluntarily.......He added that compliance with international law was a universal principle, and that it would allow reconciliation in the region, and would ensure for Serbia the basis for a better standard of living...[THAT'S IT, so far so good]"

I am REALLY impressed with your STRONG dermination to put Serbia, slowely but surely, in the EQUAL rank WITH its neighbours.

Remember ONLY Serbia did not fully comply with ICTY. They need to learn lessons from the neighbours and come clean for the benefit of its own citizens.

NOW Serbia should gradually show signs that it does not agree with people who committed genocide in the name of people of Serbia.

Cheers
