Why do you as an Albanian think that you are in the position to determine whether or not Serbia is elligible for the EU or not?

Albania is not in the EU and probably will not be for a long time because it is far too corrupt and far too poor to even be considered a candidate for a long time, so why are you so smug about who gets in the EU or not when Albania is behind the rest of Europe (aside from Kosovo and Moldova)?

Karadgic arrest marks a significant step for Serbia's EU ambitions.

However, the EU is preparing brand new (high-tech)STICKS and fresh CARROTS for Serbia EU future.

...with the final message being...before you do your forthcoming homework (further arrests for the ICTY, and acknowledge Kosovo independence)dont ring us again...

Yes a step is a step but...
Let see what will happen in fall when Eulex will be deploy in Kosovo that is the main "step" that Serbia will have to make...

Karadžić’s arrest will undoubtedly be the focal point of today’s meeting of EU foreign ministers, because it can also be a key point for the entry into force of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between Serbia and EU countries.

-Very cheap move, all done just for the sake of SAA.

“You can imagine the EU reaction. Everyone is happy, and we congratulate the Serbian government for taking this very important step. We wish to see Karadžić in court, where he will be given a fair trial and have the chance to defend himself and to answer for the crimes committed,” Gallach told B92.

-Fair trial for Serbs before the court in Hague, it would be very funny if it wasn’t that sad.
Congratulations from the EU are the only thing that the new Serbian government will get in near future.

“The Serbian government’s excellent operation will bring Serbia closer to European values, and to the new Serbia which is determined to follow the EU path. At today’s ministers’ meeting in Brussels, we will point out that this important step has been taken, and that it will make the entire region more stable and bring it closer to the EU,” she said.

I honestly think Serbs have a good reason to be proud of their new government. They are persistently putting these wars behind, and look forward. And they are working hard to clean the reputation of Serbs and the states hands. It is badly needed.

And especially, I think Serbs should be proud because Serbia actually is the only country in the region that does this. Croatia, Kosovo and Bosnia all try to keep their hands dirty by defending and protecting
their criminals and genociders.

With their hands clean, Serbia is also in a much better position to bargain over Kosovo. Something I believe that SPS has also understood.

This is no "ransom payment". This is Justice, and it should be done. Today, Serbia stands out as the only country in the region that is eager to wash off the wars and horrors of the 90's and move on. For that you should be proud.

Okay Solana!! but how about kosovo province which you occupied??

Serbia is now completing the "ransom payment" by arresting Karadzic and soon Mladic.

Dear Jovic,

The "Arrest [also] improves Serbia’s chances [of observing, in the very near future, a full-functioning, proseprous, democratic and peaceful sovereign state of KOSOVO]"

The more arrests of criminals, the more peaceful Kosovo, Serbia and the Balkans.

I hope the above will answer your concern over Kosovo.
