As little as some posters seem to respect the current President of the United States, he does still represent the most powerful country in the world, and his support - as representing the support of the United States - is significant. I personally am grateful that he chose this time to show our support for Kosova. Our country was also "illegal" when it declared its independence and it took us a war and a long time to receive international recognition, and we were grateful to France then for "introducing" us to the world community. Now is our chance to do the same for a new democracy.

Bas,

The problem with the train is:

- all equipment is a gift from Danemark, Sweden and stolen ЖС property.

- It left into wrong direction.

- The engineer was outsourced from the bankrupt Amtrak ( the Coast Starlight Express is not without reason nicknamed "Coast StarLATE" ).

- There is no regular catenary power for the electric engine.

- The track is actually a closed loop.

- Passengers have tickets not recognized by other railways.

If they are lucky, they will maybe reach Kosovska Mitrovica. Provided, the terrorists won't steal the tracks as they did in Chechnya.

Marinel,

regardless of your baseless comments, the train (read Kosova) has left the transit station (read Serbia). what's left in the station is the manipulated timetable and the long term servants (nationalists) hoping train will reverse back so they can jump on it and create another mess. By the way they would also prefer not to buy any tickets for the entire journey since they hope to take over the train, kick out all the passengers and ride it by themselves and claim that the train was build by them.

"According to latest info President Bush and President Sejdiu will send a message to Belgrade that Serbia's future is in the EU, remind responsibilities of the ICTY tribunal (in The Hague), and moreover they expect Belgrade to provide tangible proof that is Democracy is fully implemented and respected."

Please provide a reliable information source when you make these kinds of ignorant statements. Serbia will decide whether or not its future is in the EU, the illegal Kosovo provincial government, NATO, the US and the EU also have responsibilities to send their war criminals to The Hague. Finally, Serbia recently had two democratic elections (with lots of encouragement by the "democratic" EU to vote for certain EU-friendly politicians and political parties) and maybe it is time that the US start showing its true democratic character (instead of starting war whenever it pleases them).

"Furthermore, both leaders are likely to send a message to Russia that Kremlin should play a more constructive role in solving Checnya question and allow international journalist free entry and exit."

What does Kosovo care about their Muslim brothers and sisters in Checnya (or Palestine)? They cannot openly criticize Israel, because the Isrealis are much bigger friends of the US. This letter will most likely be used as toilet paper and anger the Russians even more (the Russians may seem very passive, but do not underestimate them).

"Finally, both leaders will also exchange views on how the Balkans, Europe and the world should look in the future, in light of current global economic crisis."

The illegal Kosovo President is most likely not an intellectual of that level that he should try to solve world problems he cannot handle and understand. In addition, GWB and his team have not contributed many positive things to this world the past 7.5 years and everybody better hold their hearts that before he leaves office he will not start another one with Iran. In that case oil will be over $200 and the whole world may end up in a deep recession. Finally, all the Balkan countries have to solve any open issues without any influence of others.

PRN, please stop posting your immature comments here. Obviously you cannot handle the level and it is understandable for you are probably young. Also please stop asking your little Albanian friends to recommend your posting after you have posted it so it looks like you are some inportant person.

It is interesting to see who the (officially) most hated and least trustworthy US president of all times chooses as his liasson and soulmate.

The rest of the world cannot wait to see his back but as long as he is there he will cause some more catastrophic twists.

By the way yesterday on 'Huffington Post' I've read how Tachi (called 'godfather' of Kosovo) hosted lunch for American Congressmen in his home-village in Kosovo?!

Somebody will have to put stop on this, and very soon.

Lets see... "support for Kosovo", yep that sums it up.
The UDi has made a sham of the territory of Kosovo. Noone knows who is in charge on a daily basis; UN,UNMIK, EU, EULEX, Thaci, etc.
A mere 100,000 serbs, a minority in the region is managing to cause the K-Albanians so much trouble and strife; there is no prospective of cooperation between the K-Serbs and Albanians; never mind a "multi-ethnic" society.
There is no economy to speak of; no basis for economic or real industrial growth or stability, hence the need for DONOR conference (akin to recieving transplanted organs after the host's own body fails).
Kosovo has even FAILED to rally enough support and recognitions on ITS own so it must rely on USA/EU strongarming...
Yep, I would say that Kosovo needs ALL the SUPPORT it can get, since it cannot do anything on it's own, or even quite simply support itself.
And please, lets be honest, if after ten years of self rule or at least 10 years without direct Serbian rule, ALL of the above issues should have already been handled by the Kosovar authorities prior to their UDI.
What did they expect, Hmmm, that Thaci calls for Independence and suddenly everything just miraculously works out by itself and that the world will give the K-Albanians everything on a silver platter?
It is pathetic and humbling to have to be in this position for an average person with some shred of self respect, nevermind a whole region/country.

According to latest info President Bush and President Sejdiu will send a message to Belgrade that Serbia's future is in the EU, remind responsibilities of the ICTY tribunal(in The Hague), and moreover they expect Belgrade to provide tangible proof that is Democracy is fully implemented and respected.

Furthermore, both leaders are likely to send a message to Russia that Kremlin should play a more constructive role in solving Checnya question and allow international journalist free entry and exit.

Finally, both leaders will also exchange views on how the Balkans, Europe and the world should look in the future, in light of current global economic crisis.
