they´ll be waving with their serbian passports, in order to show that they do not belong to the greater-albanian terrorists.

(Jovan, 22 July 2008 02:54)

Jovan, who would be the “THEY” in your dream-world?
Definitely not the 95% of the population.
The 95% of the population would take up arms and fight for their freedom again. Same as we did, and our parents before us and their parents before them and..... and....
Jovan, Kosovo will be Serbia when there is no eagle spirit left in Kosovo (Shqiponja).

I hope B92 sees the humor in this:
Does the Serbian Ambassadors Airlines offers roundtrip tickets now? Can they pick up Kosovar diplomats in Pristina since they are going to the same destinations or are those trip non-stop?

Hm, let's see. They have just arrested Karadjic and are about to throw him to the wolves.
One more Serbian death in custody is all that's going to happen. I sincerely hope that I'm wrong.

Tadic's government will do anything to get into the same club that bombed them just a few short years go.
Serbian population has elected this government with open eyes this time, so the government they got is the government they deserve.

Why would any Serb now want to stick his neck out and fight for his people and country when his fellow Serbs will not value it in a few years?
The mothers, daughters and wifes of the falled Serbian soldiers who fought in Kosovo and RS have a lot to thank Tadic for.
If they go soft now, it would've all be in vain.

"Serbian tanks and military vehicles rolling in and Kosovars throwing flowers in front of them.
(Joe, 21 July 2008 19:44)"

don´t worry, my dear albanian friend, they won´t throw flowers, don´t be naive...

they´ll be waving with their serbian passports, in order to show that they do not belong to the greater-albanian terrorists.

but we have to be realistic, it is still too early for this scenario.

but one thing is for sure, those who had the opportunity to visit the US-president will have the opportunity to dream of their glorious moment they had.

nothing is over yet, even if you Albanians desperately wish that now everything stays as it is. but, ..... let´s see what future brings!

Who was the "genius" to come up with the idea of recalling them anyways? Like countries change their foreign policy just because Serbia doesn't like it! Move on guys...and hopefully that direction is the West...the choice is yours!

ZK,

For a diaspora Serb like you living in a country with high living standard it is always easier to take some time to deam up glorious scenarios of re-conquest of Kosovo. With imagination running high you can come up with everything. Serbian tanks and military vehicles rolling in and Kosovars throwing flowers in front of them.

Do you really belive with all your heart that you can have Kosovo back? I dont think so and I'm being realistic. You can try and take north kosovo but think of the rest. Albania will welcome the rest of Kosovo.

To # 3, Kosovo is not gone! It is very much a serbian territory if we are referring to international law / UN.

Serbian folks,
It is also evident that the DS lead coalition had no "balls" to continue the fight for kosovo using all options and therefore we will see a gradual change of policy and will lead to a sell out.

I'm sure I've read that about 10 times today Hassan - "Kosovo is lost".

If the Albanians truly believe that nonsense then why aren't they out there enjoying their new found freedom instead of repeating fairy tales in the hope that Serbians will believe it?

There is a difference between true independence and one of a pretend nature. Normally the real thing has UN agreement and that essential piece seems to be missing.

What the Albanians are referring to instead is the occupation of Serbian land and even though it's evident this Serbian government are sell-outs, it is not enough to lose Kosovo - as that will forever remain Serbian land.

The Serbian will can outlive any occupation! Give it time and you'll realise soon enough.

For god's sake there is nothing to trade. Kosovo is lost whether you decide to join the EU or not. Serbia will not be made to choose because Kosovo is not an option any longer. It's gone.

Jevic

Hmmm! slowly but surely this Pro-Western coalition lead by the DS party is starting to show it's true colors and that it is willing to "TRADE" land (Kosovo) for Euros & Quick Membership.

The Socialist Party leader Ivica Dačić said last night in reaction to the suggestion that Serbia's ambassadors to those EU countries that have recognized Kosovo Albanians' declaration of secession should be returned, that this will be discussed "in the next couple of days".

I think we all know what form these “discussions” will take: bags full of Euros is the only “discussion” the SPS are interested in.

If this new coalition last more than a few months, then Dačić will bleed Serbia’s oligarchs dry.
