Really going off the 'deep end' aren't you 'ben'.

And if you're going to capitalise so much of your text, why not just capitalise all of it.

Subject is 'ban's proposed reconfiguration of UNMIK.

Joe your post #6 is EXEMPLAR.

But you should be aware that even if US bombs teh terrosrist that violate for years DARFUR and LIEBRATE this REGION form the OPPRESION and genocide of SUDAN (of which WE ALL ARE VITNESSING indifferent for years) you will still find people liek Chris who WIL OBJECT to it.

As a matter a fact we hade 2 VETOS in UNSEC in imposing sanctions to teh dictatorial and genecidial Sudan.

The VETO was used by teh "deffender" of the international law- RUSSIA.

The hypocrisy of Kremlin has a LONG TRADITION. And they are allways in good company with extreeme leftists and quasi "liberals" and "progresists" of the western europe- liek our frind Chris.

If US Army transform in a RED CROSS they will still find somthing to object to it again.

They just make me feel sick for the simple reason: WHY NEVER SPEAK ABOU CHECHNYA?

Is readily apparent that US doesn't want to see the legal status of the UDI examined by the ICJ as they are well aware how 'shaky' are their arguments.

The real fight will be to get this matter in front of the ICJ. Will see come September on just effective "mister bonus miles" has been on this.

Pity his K-albanian counterpart hasn't done half as good a job as Jeremic has isn't it - at least from a K-albanian view.

It stands to reason why Jeremic is in "talks" with the UN and not with Pristina.
This is the slow process of letting the serbs down gently.
Although, gentleness is not Serbia's way, as Jeremic reminds us with his dire warning to Ban Ki Moon that he is going to the ICJ for their ruling on Kosova's DI. I guess they want the hammer to strike its verdict and seal the done deal from a "LEGAL" authority, mostly accepted by Serbs. lolol!!

Chris,

In the 21st century sovereigny does not mean that you can do anything with your own citizens or a part of them.
When a country treats its own citizens the way Serbia did in Kosovo in the nineties than a more conscientious democratic world says "enough is enough" and intervenes.
The "almighty" does not decide arbitrarly "out out fun" that let's intervene in Serbia, Finland, Irland or Slovenia. There has to be a compeling reason. Serbia was to eager to provide this reason.
And don't worry about the political future. The US and NATO do there best to ensure that things don't get out of control.
What is worrisome world-wide is the bleak economic situation because of energy and food prices. This could last unfortunately for years to come. There is no "almighty" to come up with a remedy.

Utopia, If in the 21st century the sovereignty of another country is not respected, land grabbing by those almighty is fully supported, lying and progaganda is the main means to control politics, intimidation and threats to countries who will not accept almighty's point of view is allowed, then the entire world is in trouble and all of our future is bleak.

Utopia,

Most people agree with you. When people see a headline like "Jeremic objects to this" or "Jeremic object to that" they don't even read it anymore. It is like a broken record. It is a waste of time to read it.
The whole thing is for Serbian domestic consumtion. It is an effort to maintain this utopic view that one day the 80s-90's situation will be fully restored. This type of "objections" will probably will go on for few more years until they realize that it is totally unproductive.

Hello Utopia,

Which "new born countries" do you write of? The last "new" state to enter the international fold was Montenegro in June 2006.

There have been a few attempts by mischievious cartels to create others, but these have so far failed or are failing. I'm thinking of Kurdistan, Abkhazia and Kosovo in particular.

Mr Jeremic,

World is fed-up with you objecting everything from the international community senior officials.

The more you object the more they see that you are sleep-talking.

It is 21st century now, you need to accept the realities of this century, and not day-dream the 1980s-90s situation. Ex YU is dead.

The new born countries must move forwards.
