Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković says he expects Serbia to receive EU candidate status in March or April 2009.

The west continues to shoot itself in the foot. At the treaty of Versailles we treated Germany as a red headed step child and that brought us world war ii, atleast then President Wilson tried to lessen the terms.
Today, in Serbia's time of need, my country sided with the shortsighted Europeans and is just throwing more dirt on a people who have suffered enough

Serbia should receive EU candidate status in 2009 only if she deserves it!! No favors should be offered to Serbia.

Mr Prime Minister,please be more up front or honest if i can put it this way with the serbian people european membership and Soverignity over Kosovo conflict the two don't go together,god luck but i don't think that dream of yours will be fulfiled.Iam sure you know that as well as i do.Thanks
