ZK so now its Serbia will only fall into the trap if it becomes an EU member?

And before you did this U-turn you were claiming that the ratification of SAA was the trap / recognition of Kosovo.

Which is it? Talk about changing position. Glad to see your position is more moderate than DSS now though.

Serbia has not stepped into it just yet but if it does then I expect status to remain unresolved within the EU. What I wrote only applies if or when Serbia becomes an EU member.

Very funny Dane. So Kosovo is moved from the first to the fourth agenda item and you expect Serbia to recognise it tomorrow? Thanks for a good laugh! :)

So how do you explain the EU mission constantly being delayed month after month? According to your logic, that is a sure sign that Kosovo's independence is lost.

Good luck Albanians in your own isolation.

Absoluately right ZK UK.
The trap is set and Serbia walked right into that trap.
Which ever way you look at it, Serbia will end up with short end of the stick.

Very optimistic news: Kosovo from first discussion item swooped to a fourth discussion item. Slowly, but surely, Kosovo is becoming not a top point on Serbia's agenda. Finally, some people have started to realize that it is not worth to lose time for the things which can not be changed. Look towards future...

Good luck Kosovo on your own way...

Skupstina is still discussing issues that the previous Skupstina could solve, and another resolution yet. Kosova issue is fortunately out of Skupstinas reach, as well as have no authority to deal with the issue. Last Skupstina that dealt with Kosova issue is now retired and the same will happen with this one if chooses to deal with Kosova.

It goes on to say that Serbia will ratify the SAA with the EU with Kosovo as a constituent part of its territory.
--
As far as I'm concerned, this new government is completely incompetent when it comes to Kosovo issues. They will simply follow the instructions provided by the very people intending to rip Kosovo away.

Within the EU, it is not so important how Serbia views its borders but rather the whole union. With 20 members recognising independence they will permit it to join as an independent entity and will treat it as such!

Once Serbia is in, it will view Kosovo already a part of the EU so how can it prevent the other nations bringing it in as an independent state? It cannot veto as it would imply recognition.

The trap is set and this government has every intention to set it off. The DSS/SRS were right to insist on clarification of Kosovo's status by the EU. It is the only way to ensure it remains firmly in Serbia's hands.

Good to see them getting on with it. We have no time to lose. Good laws take time to formulate, but we must use the 'honeymoon' period effectively.

I wonder, what is there to be discussed over Kosovo in serbian Parliament? What is there to be said, they haven't said a hundred times before: "Kosovo is Serbia, we will never give it up". The next party says: "No, no. We will never ever give it up", while the others "oppose": "We will never ever² give it up!" .

It's reckoning without one's host, the majority of people living in Kosovo.

"Democracy" is funny, isn't it?
