Govt. plans to adopt 32 laws by late Sept.

Members of parliament and government want to adopt 32 laws by the end of September as a condition for EU membership.

From what I understand, this law and a few others are loosely based on the U.S. RICO statutes, I doubt that they are constitutional in Serbia, but the goal is to curb the association of criminals, while balancing the human right to association.

As this DS Government lacks imagination I doubt they can find this balance but I can't really comment until I can read it.

Does anyone know if an online copy of the proposed laws is available

Here is a nice one: "confiscation of property of those suspected of criminal association"

Sounds like legalised theft to me. You only need to suspect someone of criminal association to take their house.
