Which third-rank official in this picture do you mean?

http://www.bosnjastvo.com/slike/portal/vijesti/zeneva_tudjman_milosevic.jpg

The one named in the headline of the story we're commenting on is the individual sitting at the right. His name is Radovan Karadzic. And he is definitely a third-rank official, compared to some of the others around the table in Geneva -- Sloba, Franjo, Momo and the rest. They're all busy drawing lines on a map carving up Bosnia -- lines that will lead to the deaths and expulsions of tens of thousands of innocent people: Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs. The individuals in the photo are the ones principally responsible for those crimes. Unfortunately some of them died before they could be judged. Only one is still on the run -- Karadzic. Third-rate or not, he must be arrested and brought before the court to face the grave and well-documented charges against him.

He's no hero.

I am so deeply moved that the only postings here support these evil war-criminals -- it says so much about the new, "democratic" serbia. Volumes.

Serbia must stop sending Serbs to the Hague. The Hague let Oric go and that other Albanian terrorist go also. So Karidic and Mladic should be cleared of all charges and left alone to live their lives in peace, just like the others that are so easely aquitted. Zivela Serbia

I would agree that many war-criminals are still free.

unnecessary to say that besides of the Croats those are to be found among the muslims in Bosnia and the Albanians in the southern serbian province.

I´ve already forgotten the name of this third rank "official"...

I wonder what will be next on america's blackamil list for Serbia? Because these kinds of games have been going on for 20 years now. We are just sick and tired and really fed up with america's imperialst blackmail.

"Holbrooke was not involved in any deal with Karadic", why should anyone believe that, because the US says so? Get real, the US State Dept. foreign policy is filthy, wherever they stick their nose in the world. As far as Mladic and Kardic are concerned, bring Clinton, Albright and Clarke to the Hague, and maybe a deal can be arranged, not involving Holbrooke, of course. His hands are too clean.
