BadGorilla is just offering a balanced opinion, and fact, from the posts that I've seen.

This Serb community in Bratunac is marking the death of tens of Serbs which were killed while the Bosnian Muslims were only a few months ago prevented from marking the deaths of their loved ones. Their buses were turned back by RS police, which was a gutless and immoral act.

Why such a disparity in standards? Also, Dodik is using numbers which have been proved to be blatantly false and over-estimated. The Research and Documentation Centre findings make this very clear.

In all of this, we all need to realise that all lives lost are of equal value - however, the number of civilian casualties tell a more compelling humanitarian story about the futility of the Balkan conflicts.

I wonder if and when Dodik will accept that the Srebrenica massacre instigated by Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic even ever occured.

Also, Naser Oric was acquitted of all charges - which isn't the same I can say for the RS political and military leaders of the RS Army.

Bad Gorilla,

It says a lot about marely by the fact that you spend your time trolling Serbian websites and passing offensive comments.

I agree with Dragan.. most of the murderers of the Bratunac Massacres met their fate during the Srebrenica Massacres.. however those who were killed for no reason.... deepest apologies.

Do NOT Extradite Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic until Naser Oric is sent to life in prison!!!!!

> The article staes that "3000 Serbs were killed" in a three year span.

I agree that all the innocent lives lost in the 1992-1995 war should be mourned, irrespective of their nationality. But "victimhood" does not justify anything. There are no "victim nations" (eternally innocent) or "perpetrator nations" (etenally guilty). If there are indeed victims on one side, it does not excuse the crimes committed against those on the other side. All of those who are guilty of crimes should be punished. But they can be found guilty only if the allegations are based on solid evidence. That oft-cited number of 3,000 Serbs, alleged to have been murdered in Bratunac, is not supported by the available facts and evidence.

For a reality check, consider the following:

RIP to the 3,500 Serbian civilians who were massacred in the most brutal way by Nasir Oric and his gang of war criminals. You will not be forgotten.
Many of these criminals met their fate in Srebrenica, but the chief among them, Oric, is running a disco in Tuzla. The fact is that to many of the vehement anti-Serbs in the west, such as Nicholas Burns, Madeline Albright, Richard Holbrooke....Serbian lives are worthless. Well we won't let them forget their crimes in the Balkans, and they will live in infamy for what they have done.

Your comment is ridiculous, Gorilla. The article staes that "3000 Serbs were killed" in a three year span. How you arrived at your math is unclear. You should place your Serb hatred on hold for a moment, and respect dead innocent souls, regardless of their ethnicity.

To say that the Bratunac massacre of civillians equals the 1995 Srebrenica massacre of civillians is like to say that the life of a Bosnian Orthodox civillian worths at least 120 times more than the life of a Bosnian Muslim...

I am interested to see if any international official comes. Of course, it is clear in the west that Serb lives are worthless. No life is worthless, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or race. Bosnian Muslims have received much sympathy and money from the west, while Serbs have received nothing but punishment. I would have expected at least that the Oric would have received a stiff sentence. Instead, not only did he not receive a stiff sentence, he received nothing but three years for celebrating the murder of civilians. Is that justice?
