This is a sign of permanent ethnic cleansing (true ethnic cleansing) of Serbs from Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. It is not the TEMPORARY war time displacement that the media declares ethnic cleansing.

It's too bad though that more wealthy Serbs (diaspora or otherwise) aren't getting hands-on involved in helping Serb refugees and impoverished.

Gojko, I agree that political pressure needs to be put on the governments of Croatia, the Bosnian authorities and the UDI authorites in Kosovo province, however the new government of Serbia is certianly not up to this task

As you already know, people are living in temporary housing that was not designed for long term use. As you must agree need to arrange for their housing NOW.

One of my very good friends in Belgrade directly works with Divac. This is no joke, nor any publicity stunt. This is one of the most genuine efforts to find housing and basic human services for all of Serbia's refugees and IDPs. The stories I've heard of these people living in refugee camps were heart wrenching. My only concern that a private citizen has done more with his own group to aid these people than the government.

Not only that, Divac and his wife are quite possibly two of the nicest people anyone could ever meet.

Vlade is a true giant. One of the nicest and kindest people I've ever come across. I know plenty of people from Northern California that have the greatest praise and admiration for him. All Serbians should be very proud to have a person like him.

God bless you Vlade

Vlade is trying to help. Refugees need to return to their original homes. I do not hear enough articles on Serbs returning back to their homeland. Most Serbs would love to return if they could. Political pressure needs to be put on Croatia and Bosnia for not allowing safe conditions for returnees.
