the same could be said for the Serbs, As a Brit i was amazed after all the NATO bombing the Serbs tanks just rolled out of there positions. The UK media couldnt believe with all our smart bombs we had not destroyed the Serb armed forces. Any armed force on equal terms is a formidalbe foe. The KLA only won with the assisstance of NATO. It might have been different if the Serbs had decent air defense systems, and better support from Russia. You will find Kosovo will be less important once the fireworks start with Iran, the UK if it is to take part will have to withdraw from the Balkans, we dont have the troop levels any more.

actually yes. Albanians were the best fighters when they were armed equally. Ask the Turks how did they do in Albania. Not well. Despite the propaganda, they left Albanians alone due to rebellions. Albanians soldiers were in GREAT demand from all sides. The best fighters on the 'Greek' independence war were Albanians as well, and the fighters sent to crush them were Albanians too ;)
of course there are plans... only a stupid person wouldn´t expect Serbia having planned every possible situation.

( as far as I remember, lately the albanian military had to evacuate a whole region because they weren´t capable of properly handling with their ammo...

It’s very clear that Kosova is under a serious military threat by teh Serbian chauvinists.
It is a vital priority the creation of reliable deterrent armed forces of Kosova that will play the key role in the stability in Kosova and region.
The military balance between Kosova and Serbia will be the key for stability in the region and guarantee for the freedom of the kosovars.
Serbs did not manage for almost 3 years to break K-peasants armed with AK-47 and ammos carried with donkeys- go figure a regular Kosovar army equipped at least as the Serbian forces and trained.
The chauvinists in Belgrade can only dream.
The FACT is that if external forces (Serbia) do not destabilise Kosova (invade militarly), the PEACE in Kosova will be for eternity.
Serbia minds here own busienss = Peace in Kosova and Balkans. Simple like that.
The problem is your party choose the wrong side by siding with the DS rather than with the DSS & SRS. since your party is in power now you should make every effort to protect the lives and property of the people thier in kosovo.
