honey, we´ve seen how much leverage Russia has in the UNSC, when the western "allies" withdrew from that very same institution in regard to our southern province, just because Russia only threatened to veto...

how about a little reality-check before writing nonsense, miri?

Mr. Ban has overstepped, sure I agree, but now what?
No good having laws unless you can enforce them. Who is going to be law enforcement here?

Russia is right, and international law has been broken and we know who did it too, so what is the next move? How do we rectify this?

Being good chess players, Russia should be able to checkmate at some point.

Back to the original topic: yes, Ban tried to please everyone but it was impossible because the neo-con gang just seeks the conflict. So indeed, he over-stepped his authority.

There is no such thing as "Russia", "America", "Serbia", "Kosovo" here, just some governments which represent these.

Let's see the list.

- we have a President, who works hard on reconcillation with people of Israel and did admit many past mistakes. IMHO a clear case, esp. in a country with dark past of anti-semitism. Great job!

- We have a President who is considered the worst of his country's history, some are accusing him being directly or indirectly involved in the biggest terror act ever (9/11), he and the VP are the only presidents who are convinced criminals (of DUI) and the wealth of his family comes from weapon trade with Nazi Germany. IMHO a clear case. There is some other iceing on the cake, but this is already an impressive list.

- We have a country where after the disagreement about the approach to the territorial integrity the government did volunteerly dissolve itself, new democratic elections were hold in order and without incident - and the new government was properly elected.

- We have a piece of land where convinced gangsters, mobsters, girltraders, organ-traders, pimps try to pretend, they actually are in control - but the entire territory was dumped to the hand of major offenders of the world's peace and economy, who are (by concidence) corporate mobsters (see above) like D.Ch...ey.

Now to the judgement who is the bad guy and who is the good guy.

Jason: Serbs live in Serbia, Kosovars in Kosova.

If evryone cares about own businesses thare will be PEACE in Kosova.

Serbia minds her own business and Kosova her. fair enough?

No one ever asked Serbia to fight anyone. you say "terrorists" in Kosova, and in Croatia, and Bosnia, in Slovenia? what were they fighting there???

EA, I think all of us here have had just about enough of your sarcasm and smart remarks.
Russia is all about international law and if that happens to be favouring the Serbian side, so what.
What are you trying to say?
Serbia has no right to be protected under any law no matter who strikes against her?

You would be all about upholding international law if you were on the right side of it, I'm sure of that, but since you are the ones breaking it, naturally you will try to ridicule Russia for upholding it.

No thief is ever about upholding the law and you are no different.

The US & NATO bypassed the UN and bombed Serbia. The US bypassed the UN and destroyed, invaded and occupied Iraq.
The USA/NATO is training Georgian & Ukraining less than 60 miles from the Russian border.
The USA has created Gitmo, yet it points the finger at Russia and China for non-democratic means of dealing with enemies...
NATO and the USA are backing Israel against Iran..but yet Israel has 200 nuclear warheads already...
The USA does not stick to any agreements it has made with Russia particularly with regards to ABM.

And there are a million other points...so tell me, who is the bad guy?

But Serbs instead of fighting the KLA, they created resistance groups to Milo and turned him over to the Hauge...he was actually fighting terrorist.
So Serbs, if you tell Russia to bug off...consider yourselves the Nazi's...because that's how the US and NATO portray you for the history books...glad you could join the EU and sell out Russia's unwaivering support for you ungratefulness.

We all know what Russia stands in the name if "international law" in other words in the name of Serbia's interest. Let's face this reality and why waste more time with Russian veto in the SC?

russia is even demonstrating in practical terms in former georgian regions how wrong kosovo idea was by the west. russia is simply beautiful. russia is more serb than serbia today. this will not be forgotten by those of us who love our country and care to save our country. and elections showed we are in majority. usually in all forms of dictatorships and/or banana republics you see authorities steal ballots. this time parties such as sps varmint stole their own voters ballots :) interesting times :))

Hey PRN ! HOpe you do not forget to stand up each time you mention RUSSIA ! Though we don't value R.Mugabe as much as you do one have to see the difference between an independent Rhodesia and the occupied Korea , Kosovo province, Afghanistan , Iraq ect. So one cannot expet the inhabitants of those territories like you to be independent anywhere including UN. Who can imagine a K-breakaway to be independent of what the Metropoly says ? Same with Pan Gi Moon who is like you just a prisoner of war.

ROLE OF THE UNSG according to Chapter XV of the United Nations Charter deals with the UN Secretariat. It designates the UN Secretary-General as the chief administrative officer of the organization, which includes the staff of ECOSOC, the Trusteeship Council, and other organs. A chief administrative officer (CAO) is responsible for administrative management of private, public or governmental corporations. The CAO is one of the highest ranking members of an organization, managing daily operations and usually reporting directly to the chief executive officer.

Dear Russia,

Please mind your own business, try to resolve an increasing poverty in 98% of Russia, and the turmoil you created in Chechnya, Abkhasia, Osetia, Dagestan...etc

I just cant believe how Russia thinks it needs to give lessons to the world on what to do in Kosovo.

Hello Russia, wake up, even Mugabe would laugh if he hear you...

Cheers

The only thing Russia wants is trouble.

If this was a movie the US is the good guys and Russia would be the bad guys. That's it.
